um...lost chronicles kasi complete guide talage sa show, kaya lang medyo luma na yun, so medyo out of date na. meron ako nung mga lost magazines. ok sila. maraming interview with the cast and crew. wala pa akong nakikitang shirts sa mga stores dito. sa on-line ko lang alam na meron sila. gusto ko nga rin ng mga lost sweatshirt and t-shirt, e.

i see.. so mas ok kung magasines na lang pabili ko..any particular issue na recommend mo that i should buy.. i mean yung sanang medjo sawyer-centric na issue..meron ka ba nun..o well, thanks for the update, ORLI..

meron ako ng 2nd and 3rd issues lang. hindi naman sawyer-centric talaga sila. ewan ko lang yung 1st magazine. bilhin mo na lang lahat para parang collection mo.:smile:

The convention will be held from April 21 to 23, 2006 at Rockwell. Maybe we could look for each other there. I plan to be there all three days but not the whole day each day. It would be nice to meet up with LOSTies and be part of a bigger group. If our schedules permit, maybe we can even meet beforehand.

I'm not really organizing the event this April. It's the more active people who make up a core committee from NEW WORLDS ALLIANCE. I'm just a volunteer and I'm connected with the Philippine Tolkien Society.

This will actually be the fourth New Worlds Con in Manila. They had the first one in Makati Cinema Square (2003), the second one in Rockwell (2004), the third in Glorietta (2005).

It's a 2-3 day event organized by members of the different fandoms. I can't name all of them but some are fans of:

At the event location each organization / club has their own tent / booth designed in a theme inspired by or based on a place or event in the fandom they represent. Last year, we made our booth look like Bag End.

There are talks, games, mini-events and people in costume like it was Halloween.

There are certain credentials a group has to meet to be recognized by NWA, I think one of them is having at least 10 members. I don't know if the PinoyLosties in the Fuselage are interested in becoming an NWA group--but I do know it would be fun for us to get together formally or informally.

I'd be super happy to meet folks from the group at the convention (which will take place over an entire weekend), maybe I'll be able to email or text some of you beforehand. I sent a PM to Joyce (but I haven't checked my email yet).

My Lost Story is...I heard about it from a friend of mine in the Colorado who is a fan of Dom Monaghan (and LOTR). She sent an e-mail about the show in September 2004 (?) and ever since I've been incredibly curious. From the time I saw the first episode I was hooked. The characters are really amazing and engaging. When I get asked who my favorite character is--I have more than one answer. And even if a character is not my favorite, most of them are just really compelling.

Right now though, I am tripping on Desmond and I hope to see more of him as Season 2 continues to play out.

I really hope we can meet up some time! :cool:

Hi everyone, I've also been trying to get a Philippine Lost group together on yahoo. We're called Lost Philippines and we officially got together last March 11, 2006. Actually, it's just me and one other person. Maybe we can "connect" with the "Pinoy Losties". Have you guys met up already? Are any of you into LOTR / Potter / X-Files / Buffy / Star Wars / Narnia -- we could all shake hands at the upcoming New Worlds Convention in April and then maybe set up some sort of get together.

Kape everywhere! Seattle is Starbucks' hometown so you'll find them every 1/2 block, it's ridiculous! But it isn't just Starbucks, there are other local coffee shops so we're pretty wired here.

Do they show LOST there in the right order? Maternity Leave should have been the 15th episode from season 2; how come you've only seen four? Anyways, the last couple of weeks have been reruns so I can't wait for next week. When do they air the show there?

love2shop--how old were you when you moved to seattle? I was there for 3 days in 1999 and I was blessed by fine weather and sunshine but it was COLD at night. Sarap pa din. I visited Brandon and Bruce Lee's grave on a sunny Saturday afternoon.

I was pretty much raised here in the states but I do remember a lot of the Filipino traditions, especially during the holidays. Christmas and New Year's suck around here, unlike there. I remember celebrating fiesta during the second weekend in Dec, followed by simbang gabi (of course I was too young to go but I remember watching people go by at 4 a.m. going to church). I especially miss the New Year's celebration; kinda lame around here unless you got $$ to spend at the clubs. I hope to come back and visit sometime soon; the last time I visited was '95.

Hey there! Did you enjoy your visit here? You know what? I've never been to the Lee's graves and I've lived here since '81 (I was 8 when I moved here)! Is that sad or what? Do you plan to visit anytime soon again? Of course I don't know how easy it is to travel here these days. We've had a mixed bag of weather lately; it's mid-March and it still feels like winter. What's up with that?

Anyways, I'll be talking to you guys again for sure.

I did enjoy Seattle very much--especially that Market you have by the sea, there was so much good stuff, the coffee shops everywhere but not just the starbucks. I saw some really unique, colorful, artsy ones with their own distinctive look. I attended a poetry reading at the Coffee Messiah at 2am pa nga.

I don't think we get our Episodes here ahead.

As I understand it, there are a lot replays squeezed in between new Episodes so a lot hard core fans I'm sure watch certain episodes over and over again and get new insights and new questions.

i only got the LOST chronicles.. I want the magazines and some of the books..No, we are still behind..by several episodes..sana nga may dvd na by that time..so i can watch it over and over again..

There's a diary in the fuselage--the one that starts off "Dear Pookie."

Is that the one you're referring to?

The diary I meant is on lost.abc.com. Go to FOUND, then click on DIARY. This was a journal started by another survivor on the island from last season but something happened to her at the end of the season. Now someone else has found the diary and started writing in it. I'm suspecting that his last entry might have something to do with a spoiler I read about Henry Gale.

As far as other LOST sites, I used to visit imdb and the theory board on the oceanic website but they were crawling with trolls so I left.

Yes, I do listen to the podcasts as well but I haven't heard this week's yet. I also keep hoping they'll answer my questions but I"m sure they get inundated with them and I don't even know what their criteria is for answering them.

There is a filipino restaurant there, can't remember the name off the top of my head right now. Food's alright but I'm always surprised that the pancit is never consistent :( It's either bland or too salty. How can you get pancit wrong? Oh, who am I to talk? I don't know how to make it either which is why I go there :biggrin:

I might try watching some 24 (Anyway, it does have Daniel Dae Kim and Henry Ian Cusick) I haven't seen a single episode of it.

Haven't seen tonight's episode yet, I've got another hour and a half before it's on so I'm just waitin'. The tease in the last couple of weeks showed Sun's pg but I can't believe it at this time until I've actually seen it. For all I know it could just be a dream sequence;I've fallen for those kinds of things way too many times. But I'll definitely let you know after I see it.

Spring here brings lots of showers so it kinda sucks. We did get one sunny day this week, hooray! Temperature's alright, but it's still kinda chilly in the morning.

I've never seen 24. I meant to watch it when the series started but never did. I suppose I could rent the DVD's.

hey there, marilour! josel here. been busy this week. hay grabe. sa axn sa cable, 5th ep pa lang yata ng 2nd episode. ako nakakabili ako sa metrowalk sa pasig ng cds. i really cant wait e. addic na ko sa lost kaya bumibili ako ng (isang word na hindi puwedeng sabihin dito kasi mababan tayo, it starts with the letter d, tapos own, then load... get it?) kung sa states wednesdays, by friday morning dito meron na! so late lang ako ng 2 days! pero bibili ako ng orig dvd pag lumabas na para isang dvd marathon uli. i have the orig season 1.

O I dunno.. I guess...they're LOST. I haven't posted much as well.. not much as I used to. I have been really busy. I'd like to have a marathon of the whole season 3.. What do you think of the finale?? :rolleyes:

Well, I'm already spoiled rotten as it is.. can't veer away from all the spoilers and stuff.. isn't it a bit disappointing...the cliffhanger I mean..

Got a lot of questions left unanswered as usual like:

1. Is Locke still alive?
2. Whatever happened to walt and michael [but based from I read somewhere Michael is come back in season 4]?
3. Are there really two factions of the DHARMA initiative?
4. I still can't understand what the hell is SMOKEY?
5. Who is Jacob? Is he HIM?

I can't really list all the other questions running around my head right now. I'm just want to see season 4 badly.. are they really going for number 5 (2010)..gosh it's a pretty long way to be LOST... the flashforward though, may be confusing as it's already been... gotta watch the entire season again after axn's done.

i read somewhere that Jacob is a disembodied spirit thus needing some sacrifices for him to take human form again .. that's why he needs Claire's baby ..

we'll have to wait, but there's a big probability that Kate is pregnant.

Charlie already has resolved his conflicts i think .. tapos na yta mga flashbacks nya. & siguro para rin sa role ni Desmond kasi for sure nagulo nanaman utak nun sa pagkamatay ni Charlie :biggrin: .

yes Richard is one of the many mysteries of the Island. Along with Mikhail (who apparently never dies :( )

bakit sa abs-cbn? bakit hindi? abs-cbn angh pinakamagaling pagdating sa dubbing. they have done it with the chinovelas at spanish soaps and with alis and 24. saka abs ang nakabili ng rights. hindi kasi bagay sa studio 23 na tagalog, hindi nila market yun.

besides sawyer, ang magandang tanong ay dapat bang may accent si sayid? paano magtatagalog si sun at jin (knowing that their "english" subplot is integral) or ano ba ang dapat na tagalog ng "dude" ni hurley? 'tol or dong? hehe!

sapphic, yani and yael were supposed to audition (for sawyer and charlie, respectively) pero di kinaya ng powers ng wonder brothers! sayang!

bias lang rin siguro ako kasi taga-abs ako. but i hope, NO, they should give justice to the show. yeah i know lipgloss, nakakatakot ngang ma-murder. isa pa, medyo "mataas" ang lost for the public, pero when you look at the emotions, at the characters, not at the scifi conventions of the show, it has a tendecy to hit. pinoy watchers are very emotional. and very claiming! akin si sawyer! huwag patayin si boone! etc! im sure magki-click ito...

as of now, wala pa akong alam kung ano na ang timeline nito! nag-vovolunteer na ako to translate it. mas ok na lost fan/junkie ang gumawa di ba? hindi puwedeng napanood mo lang iyng season 1 pilot tapos gagawin mo na lahat. you have to watch the three seasons, read the blogs, know anyhing about lost! yun di ang kinakatakot ko. na baka iba ang reading nila sa lost, baka mawala ang subtlety and resonance
