you go into profile... and then into forum profile information... you can either pick from the stock pics... or if you have your own... you put the url for your own pic into the box that says your own pic... hope this helps

I hate to show my ditzieness here for all to see, but I don't want one of those pics of actors/musicians and* I'm not sure what a URL is unless it is the http:// thingy.* And if it is the http:// thingy then how do you get one for just a picture.*

yeah... the url is the http:// etc....

and for a pic...normally you can get a free pic acct from places like photobucket.com... you upload your pic there and then it gives you a url to use and you put that url in the box

or if it's a pic on another site... you could possible link directly to that site... hope that helps :)

Didn't want to post this on the linear and show the entire world my computer ineptness, but those numbers by my name on the linear board are my IP address??? ok then I don't think I have two modems. Maybe this has something to do with AOL? Are you sure there are no robots involved?

FoxFan - that may explain it... AOL is giving you a separate IP number... so you're showing one going from your modem and the other is generated by AOL... that would do it... and when you go to edit... it doesn't know which IP addy to attach to the edit... it's confuse-ed... LOL
