It probably does. Also, I believe that posting negative comments about a character in said character's board is provoking their fans in a way.

I'm a bit upset right now because of all the negative energy directed toward Shannon.

It's because Boone's dead. Shannon and Boone were the two most bashed/hated characters. Boone's gone, so the anti-Shannon Boone fans take it out on Shannon and join the Shannon-hatin' folks. It's all quite sad that people stoop so low.

Well I'm sure Huskie and the other mod's then would agree that provoking the fans of Shannon in a positive Shannon thread is wrong. *I'm also upset about negative energy at Shannon, I don't see where she is the "bad person" a lot of people make her out to be. *She is changing and I wish people could see that. *

That reminds me . . . a doctor friend of mine was trying to explain to someone how ovaries are smaller than you think, and I felt the need to be helpful by suggesting they would be the same size as testes. She was surprised when she realized that this was true.

I also believe these boards are here to discuss the actors portraying these characters.

So with that in mind, posting negative comments about the character IS appropriate and allowed within their board.
Posting rude and inappropriate comments about the actor IS NOT allowed within their board or anywhere else on The Fuselage.

I see no problem discussing the character in a negative way in their board. Those boards are NOT here just for their fanbase. If you want that, go start your own fansite. If these character fans can not handle criticism about their loved one, then there is no point in having any meaningful discussions with them. Ignore them or report them.

Since someone brought up the Boone Board issue, what happened there was provoking fans and attacking members in a topic about his death and how that made them feel. There would NOT have been any problem starting a new topic in the Boone Board stating why he should be dead as long as it had substance and was not to provoke anger by Boone fans.

So by all means, post your negative character comments within their boards. I need more to read than just those theories and spoilers

Same here. I think someone asked the mods about it before, but there was no solution. In fact, I was chatting with Huskie in the Randomness thread and he said the only way it would stop showing up in his unread replies was if he deleted the thread.

Yeah. It's the software. It should at least be that I can select those I want and mark them as read, instead of reading what I want and then marking the REST. Did that make sense?

That sucks....I have to go through the pages of unread replies and just pick out the ones I reply to and then "mark as read" for all the rest...too bad there isn't a solution it would help a lot.
