Pilot epsiode that aired in 2004:

The scene were Jack calls to Locke to help him with the man trapped under the plane debris we see a shot of Locke standing (in the middle of wreckage) while jack is calling for his help.

Last nights Pilot show 2006:

This scene was cut last night. They showed Jack calling Locke but this time the camera never showed Locke standing in the middle of the wreckage. It just shows Locke showing up to assist.

WTF?

Yeah I noticed that too. I was like wait that was Locke helping Jack, I dont remember seeing him stand up. But sometimes the network cuts the shows for some strange reason, why they chose to cut that who knows, but it was missing.

Actually my Mod and fellow poster friends..they didn't show Locke standing up on the beach until episode 4.."Walkabout"...during the pilot shoot (this is commentary on the DVD by Terry) it was not yet determined that Locke was a cripple...they re-shot him standing up and then blue screened and CGI'd the rest of the chaos around him to make it look like the Pilot epi and then inserted the footage of Jack calling to him..we see him standing up in Locke's flashback...it did not appear in the Pilot epi...

Glad to help!!! Can I get one of those cookies now D??

Of course..I have a long history of being wrong...just ask my wife:)

Baileysdad was correct, the short scene of Locke standing up and hobbling towards the guy crushed by the stantion was shown in Walkabout. What we see in the Pilot is what the screencap above shows, which is Locke helping out.

Memory can easily fail, as this show loves to show us things from multiple perspectives :)
