I was just wanting some opinions from other people who frequent the board. Since I joined, I have left my settings at the defaults. Right now the threads are displayed as Linear (oldest to newest.)

What I was wondering is how most other people have it displayed, because sometimes I have a hard time remembering where I left off on the threads I've been following. Do you think it's easier to follow the threads if it is set to Threaded or Hybrid mode, or am I better off to leave it Linear??

Sorry, had to run check with Karri on this one. Both threaded and hybrid views should be disabled and shouldn't appear in the drop down menus on your user cp. The reason for this is because there were glitches when viewing some of the larger threads on the board using anything but linear.

When your viewing in linear mode and return to a thread you had been reading previously you can use the view first unread button at the top left of the screen, it'll take you to the first post that has been added since you last visited the thread. This might make it easier to remember where you left off, also at the top of each post next to the time is a little box, if the post had been made since you last looked at the thread this box will be orange, if it had already been posted last time you read the thread it'll be green. Hope this helps
