Remember who played Bond sidekick, Felix Leiter in "The Living Daylights? It was none other than our favorite alcoholic surgeon, Christian Shepard aka John Terry.
Terry played Felix Leiter for a few brief appearances in the 1987 flick:

Great job, Fish1941! Thank you for that.
Now I have an excuse to slack off and watch a Bond movie. And one that features my favorite Bond too. (Yeah, yeah, I know it's not a popular opinion...)
I like that he kinda looks like Matthew Fox in some of those pictures. They've done a great job with casting Jack's parents, and not just because John Terry and Matthew Fox are SO good in their scenes together, but also because they actually look like they could be his parents. I know you don't necessarily have to bear a striking resemblance to your parents, but for some reason, it really breaks my suspension of disbelief when tv parents don't look at all like their fictional children.
I know there might be an ulterior motive behind that, but... Swoosie Kurtz as Locke's mother? That totally ruined the mood of the episode for me.

He could easily play him in the new Bond movie too...
And it would help the new Bond...Danny Craig...wich was just great in Munich...
But wait...didnt his character get eaten by a shark in "Licence to Kill"
Claudia815 your right...they look alot alike...
Matthew Fox and John Terry share some common traits.
And if u saw the mini-series "Into The West" you may notice the same about John Terry and Matthew Settle. Although here Matthew Settle plays John Terry's character as a young man. The two Matthew's resemble each other alot IMO.
