Watching Season One I'd never thought I'd miss Shannon if she was eventually killed. She was obnoxious, rude and quite egocentric. But after she died it seems she left a big hole on the show. Not in a bad way but now I'm sure she brought a whole amazing dynamic to the group before Boone died. After that she became incresingly darker and when she was finally finding herself and her place in the island with Sayid they killed her of in such a drastic manner. That was a great - truly amazing - episode and storyline and I really have grown to love her throughout Abandoned and then the end... so shocking. A life taken so pointlessly. Of course it was in the other's agenda but now when I see the past episodes and I watch Shannon I realize how much I miss her. Hopefully the writers can make her come back in way that's not ridiculous and adds something up to the story. Maggie Grace played that character so naturally and make it look so effortless when it indeed wasn't.

Congrats to the writers and Maggie in building such a great character. Too bad it didn't last long.

I miss Shannon too. Her death was so upsetting to me and a whole lot of other people. You're right, hopefully they can bring her back in a way that makes sense. Oh, we can't forget Boone as well. Maggie did play her character so naturally. I was looking at season 1 and saw her and was like, awww, season 2 needs her as well. They should have killed someone else off. I don't know who, but someone, anyone but Shannon. But I must face facts...she's dead! :crybaby:

I was hoping that Sayid would start seeing 'visions' of her once in a while like Jack and his father, but it looks like thats not going to happen. I'm still holding out for a flashback appearance though.
I miss her and Boone very much! I HATE that they killed them off so soon. They were so fun to watch.

Lol.. i was hoping that too!! Like Sayid would see Shannon in visions like he saw Walt. Who know's we might see her in a flashback appearance.. here's hoping anyway.
