View Full Version : April Fools!
irish lost fan 03-30-2006, 05:30 AM Ok April 1st is approaching and its April Fool's Day.
Just wondering what pranks have ye pulled in the last few years.
The only one i can remember doing was when i was bout 8 i went to school and i brought a key finder with me. Anyway i put the key finder under the teachers desk and everytime she spoke the alarm on the key finder went off, the teacher got really mad and smashed it, i thought it was hilarious anyway!
Chrystal 03-30-2006, 07:30 AM Hehehe
Well you see what you do is (I have never done this - probably never will - but hey)
...what you do is you get 3 pigs and take them to somewhere amusing (where there are people). You label them 1, 2 and 4. You then set them loose in the place of your choice. They will run about, and everyone will run after them to catch them... once they have caught them they will still desperately be trying to find pig 3... who of course doesn't exist!!! hahaha the joys
Blue Coral 03-30-2006, 10:53 AM I am SO bad at pulling off a successful April Fools joke. Everyone always knows that I am either lying or doing something sneaky. And one April Fools backfired big time. I was in the 8th grade in a new school and wanted to make some friends so I decide, ooh, they'll talk to me if I do a joke. So we were all in Science for and had a free period. I decide to tell everyone...sorry, laughing just thinking about it...I started to cry and proceeded to tell them that I was a real princess in a far away country. I was taken from my "tribe" when I was smaller and brought here to protect the future of a kingdom. I went on and on, let me tell you! I was only telling a small group of girls but when I was done I had the whole class' sympathy. Everyone believed it.
I didn't say April Fools yet. I was loving the attention. But it backfired. By the end of the day, the whole school was talking about how I was a princess taken from my home!!! I started telling everyone April Fools right away, but it was too late. I was branded with the story. It wasn't until graduating high school a few years ago that people finally stopped believing the story. Finally! Oh my goodness, I have never said another April Fools joke since. This one lasted for years. And I still think that some still believe it. Ahh, memories.

I really don't do April Fools day jokes...But I might this year......I'll let you know.
I have this website for a joke. http://avalonfanclan.com/misc/oreoprank.htm It's funny. But In stead of toothpaste I would use Crisco...I know evil but some people might think that the toothpaste is that mint Oreo....Enjoy.
aydans_mommy04 03-30-2006, 10:04 PM Well, I have a twin sister!!!! We often went around pretending to be each other! We even switched classes once in school! It was hillarious because some people kinda, sorta thought that maybe we were messing around with them, but all you have to do is say.."what? no... I AM JENNIFER, NOT STEFANIE!!! How come NO one can tell, it isn't that hard! How long have you know me??? You still can't tell which one I am.. shesh!" Of course this only worked when we were younger, for when we grew older, we grew to look differently! :) It was hillarious! it especially got on teachers nerves:)

Blue Coral 03-31-2006, 08:51 AM Now thats really funny!!!
I know!! And since my name is Jasmine. My friends, who eventually knew the truth, were calling me Princess Jasmine, like Aladdin. It was fun for a while. What a riot.
Heroic Poser 04-01-2006, 06:20 PM I might be in the minority, but...I hate April's Fools day.
ur not in a minority heroic. sometimes the pranks can get mean and spiteful. but i think that if you do it with a playful attitude then it all good. ;)
i got some ppl earlier by telling them i couldnt graduate this year bc some paperwork for a course wasnt filled out so i didnt get the credit ;) worked pretty good too. lol.
God's tom 04-01-2006, 07:54 PM I got my daughter SOOOOOO good this morning! We both work 2nd shift & dont get home 'till like 2:00 AM, so She was on her guard - expecting me to try to get her. Well, it was just a matter of being patient....
I was talking about something else to her & suddenly stopped & said "Oh crap! I forgot - you got a jury duty notice in the mail today. She was looking at me skeptically 'till I tossed a letter at her from my lunchbox.(I think it was a bank statement)
She hollered, "What?" and grabbed it & started studying it like it held the secrets of the universe........
Me: April fool! I got ya! Gotcha! gotcha! gotcha!
She was sooo mad!

Sherry 04-03-2006, 02:25 PM My daughter's birthday is April's Fools Day. She just turned 9.
Saturday morning, after being up for about an hour, she's come up to me and asks if I had anything to say to her. I faked a puzzled look and said, "Good Morning?". She huffed and stated it was an important day and I, of all people, should remember. I shrugged and said I didn't know, that it wasn't like her birthday or anything. Her eyes got big and I couldn't hold out anymore and started giggling.
CharliesAngel 04-04-2006, 12:28 AM Easy one, I used the old tattoo stick-on and made people think I got a real one... then, I told my dad I was having my friend's kid. You should have seen the look on his face.
