Maybe the character is just calling it a church because he knows charlie and eko are both religious in some way like when Charlie called Eko's stick a 'jesus stick' - like joking about it slightly?

I was kind of upset that it was so obvious at first too, but remember Locke and Aaron's crib? I know I figured that one out immediately.

Maybe whoever it was at abc that wrote up that episode summary is off, mistaken, or using Virgin Mary heroin, because it seemed to me that Eko CLEARLY refused to tell Charlie what he was up to.

I don't think he is building a church. And he did not reveal what he was building. The abc diary is not made by the LOST people so I'm sure they are just guessing.

A church is a guess but it's a good guess. What else would he build ? A fort ? Another raft ?

He's building the ark (like in "Noah") following the specifications given in the Bible. The ark will take everyone off the island! Yea!

I don't understand why building a church would be a big deal, especially considering Eko is the one building it. The anticipation of a plot twist around every corner leads to disappointments (althought I have to admit, I anticipate a twist around every corner)

Also, I haven't been keeping up with the diary so it's interesting to hear theories on that. For some reason, I keep thinking of the 'brother' as an imaginary person that doesn't exist.

The room NotHenry is locked in used to be where the guns were stored until Sawyer "liberated" them. This is why it has a safe-type combination lock and a steel door.

Both Locke and Jack have called that *ROOM* in the swan hatch "the armory" in multiple episodes...

Also, I haven't been keeping up with the diary so it's interesting to hear theories on that. For some reason, I keep thinking of the 'brother' as an imaginary person that doesn't exist.

I was wondering if they were going to bring a new character of the losties into the spotlight because of that. Its just wait and see I suppose.

Who's the gosh darn author of the diary??? It mentions Sayid, Charlie Eko Locke Jack and Claire. It's not them so who. It implies that they speak to him and he/she speaks to them.

Suspects: Hurley, Rose, Bernard, Sawyer, someone else we don't know their name yet?
