I'd only enjoy it if I knew that I wouldn't be trapped on the island for more than a year and I was unlikely to be killed by "mystery thing" or kidnapped and tortured. Since meeting a terrible doom has a pretty significant chance of happening, I guess I'd have to go with no and stick to skydiving for thrills :laugh:. It would be fun in theory though. . .

Normally I wouldn't want to be stranded on an island - I love my a/c and creature comforts too much (chocolate...mmmmm....) However I wouldn't mind it if every day I got to stay beautiful and clean and drop dead sexy like the Lost cast members. :lol2:
I've spent two weeks living in tents (with functioning toilets and showers) and I still looked like hell! O'course, if Charlie was there I'd bear anything. ;)

Ok. Say every girl does think every guy on Lost is hot. Say they'd love to be their to copulate with them. After a long enough time, condoms would run out, and even with other "creative" techniques, one would eventually get pregnant. Then they would get taken by Ethan and undergo a tumultous encounter that they may or may not end up surviving, and could easily perish during child birth. All that for the chance to be with the guys, KNOWING you'd have to compete against Shannon, Kate, Claire, Sun, and some other random people?

No, I don't think I would want to be stranded on that scary island. Not a fun place to be at, but I would enjoy the nice warm weather there and the beach. Pretty cold here! Would love to go fishing there as well...wonder if I'l catch anything though? since some of them are having some troubles. :laugh:

Hmm...Fast Eddie you have a point. I'd never compare to the other women on Lost, even considering the men-to-women ratio. I also skip the tan and go straight to the burn even if I'm only in the sun for 5 minutes...I used to live in Hawaii before but I'd freeze at night (don't ask me why - it was lovely weather all the time). I'm only 5'2 so I wouldn't be a match against Ethans, polar bears or mysterious rampant Balrog monsters. I hate going more than two days without a shower...no, being stranded on a dangerous deserted island wouldn't be much fun at all.

Um, me! Granted, nobody there is hard on the eyes, but I would go for the adventure, not just the scenery. I already know how I would have done things differently from the start. I'd have established a perimeter, and begun construction on shelters, assigned teams for collection of useful belongings, and so on. I know that they thought they would be rescued, but still... just in case, right?

That's what I was thinking. It's kind of like an experiment, really. "How would I cope with this situation?" That appeals to me. Stranded on an island with people you don't know, a nutjob running around in the jungle kidnapping people, and a "monster" that kills people and leaves their bodies in the trees and trying to survive. Now that's a great test of life.

Of course, I could be a bit off-kilter since I live in the middle of the Great Corn Desert and corn seems to have the tendency to drive people insane. ;D

Me too!! I'm a bonafide adventure junkie! Plus, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't be attracting too many dudes after how nasty I'd get on the island. At least, without all that TV magic that makes all the women on Lost beautiful and free of body hair. :) Seriously, I've gone on 3-day camping trips and looked 20 times more dirty than the women of Lost look after three weeks on the island.

Yeah, I'm pretty nasty without makeup...so no guys would hit on me! I'd go just because I would finally be able to be alone...fend for myself...maybe just spend the rest of my life learning the calls of the birds or the ways of the tides. Can you tell I'm a geeky introvert? :P

Hence, the appeal of "fantasy" over "reality"! ;)
