So, did anyone catch when Issac said this to Rose??
Very interesting. Obviously the island is healing people with prior illnesses with the magnetic energy.
We know it really didnt do much for the people who were hurt after being on the island (Shannon/Boone). But why hasnt it healed Hurley??

Maybe the magnetics are screwing Hurley up even worse as it effects the synapse response. Could be the energy has a side effect of inducing hallucinations, ie, the horse, Jack's Dad, Dave, etc.

Well, I'm not convinced there is anything really wrong with Hurley. I think making him feel crazy is all part of the Dharma thing. Can't fix what isn't broken.

I know there has been studies on the effects of magnetic energy and internal organ therapy...I've never heard of it being used to treat a mental disorder though.

This was probably the only part of the episode that I enjoyed. When he sat down, I kind of expected something similar to the Claire "episode" where she goes to see the spiritualist (?). But then when he mentioned the magnetic field stuff I was even more hooked. It just fuels the whole question of what they are doing on the other side of the island.
