Everybody else on show that's important, alive and not captured was shown except Sayid! Jack mentioned Sayid (seems strange that he would turn down an offer to kill others) but he was a no show.

View Full Version : Where was Sayid! LoserMike 04-13-2006, 10:07 AM Everybody else on show that's important, alive and not captured was shown except Sayid! Jack mentioned Sayid (seems strange that he would turn down an offer to kill others) but he was a no show. RamessesIX 04-13-2006, 10:19 AM He'll be back. Someone has to get crowded out each episode. And I'm almost positive that Jack was fibbing to Kate about having first asked Sayid to join him on the parley. He couldn't admit to her that she was the first one he sought out, especially after his many attempts to keep her out of 'trouble'. It would be like admitting that he had been wrong, and Jack's not so good at that, I think. Also, as you said, I don't think Sayid would have passed that chance up either. Blue Coral 04-13-2006, 10:25 AM That's the first thing I thought, there was no way Sayid would have passed up an offer like that. Sayid will hopefully be back very soon. gusthepolarbear 04-13-2006, 06:12 PM probably building mystery item # 3 come to think of it does anyone remember what bernard said other people were building? one of them was the sorta pantry thing for the food maybe the other was sayids "dining table" Letty 04-13-2006, 06:21 PM Sayid was probably busy torturing some innocent sea creature, since Jack put Fenry off-limits for now. Poor Sayid. What's he to do if not torture or be tortured? ladyrune24 04-13-2006, 06:32 PM Sayid was probably busy torturing some innocent sea creature, since Jack put Fenry off-limits for now. Poor Sayid. What's he to do if not torture or be tortured? That was uncalled for. You might not like the character but there are several people who do so we would appreciate a little restraint. CaKarst 04-13-2006, 06:46 PM Or busy with the ten commandments.. Letty 04-13-2006, 06:47 PM That was uncalled for. You might not like the character but there are several people who do so we would appreciate a little restraint. Not that I need to validate that response with an answer-Sayid is probably one of my favorite characters in the entire show. A complex character with alot of emotional baggage, trying to understand himself and what he thinks is his fate-to be a torturer, to hurt people. And it's probably not healthy to respond to a joke (yes, it was a joke, I know it's hard to understand, this being the interweb and all), in a way that seems you are a bit too attached to fictional characters on a television show. No disrespect to people who enjoy the character Sayid. I was actually just trying to keep it light. You know how people get kinda kooky on the net when they're on it for far too long. Shardyk 04-13-2006, 06:49 PM I love Sayid, but I thought that was pretty funny. If we can't take a show lightheartedly, what can we? I don't know where he was, but I certainly noticed his absence. I guess Naveen got himself a good 8 day break. Kel_el 04-13-2006, 06:57 PM Not to ruin the moment but could you imagin Jack and Sayid in the Trap? Hahahaha Letty 04-13-2006, 07:00 PM Not to ruin the moment but could you imagin Jack and Sayid in the Trap? Hahahaha Jack: What are you doing? Sayid: I'm trying to get your gun. Jack: DUDE. Captain_Falafel 04-13-2006, 07:04 PM Actually I can imagine Sayid passing up Jacks offer of going on the trek. They weren't going to the line to "kill others" - they were going there to organise a Henry for Walt swap. I can't imagine Sayid wanting to parley with the people he blames for his girlfriends death. I don't believe Jack asked either, but that is because I think Jack is very wary of Sayid at the moment, thinking he is a loose cannon and always dragging him away from Gale when he flips out during an interigation... feedthisobsession 04-14-2006, 12:49 AM I also heard he was doing the Ten Commandments... but I hope his character was supposedly up to something. They'd have to say something about him not being around. And did he finish whatever it was he was building?, cuz his helper Charlie has found a new best friend... bakerboys 04-14-2006, 06:16 AM Maybe Naveen Andrews AKA Sayid was off promoting the mini-series "The Ten Commandments" in which he can currently be seen on TV. irish lost fan 04-14-2006, 08:39 AM It was strange that he wasn't even in it. Usually when they do there musical routines at the end of episodes they show everybody but the left Sayid out...? cylune 04-14-2006, 08:48 AM Not to ruin the moment but could you imagin Jack and Sayid in the Trap? HahahahaSayid would never have picked up the doll though!! I missed Sayid too. However, this is not the first episode where there’s one or more characters missing from an episode. With the large cast, I guess this is something we have to live with.:frown: RamessesIX 04-14-2006, 10:08 AM Not that I need to validate that response with an answer-Sayid is probably one of my favorite characters in the entire show. You caught some flack for being snarky, but there was an element of truth in your post. Early in the show, Sayid was one of my favorite characters, but he's become a little one-note lately. I'd like to see the master of technical improvisation back, there's been a little too much of the brutal interrogator. I never bought his fling with Shannon, either. This Sayid fan got a chuckle out of it. Not to ruin the moment but could you imagin Jack and Sayid in the Trap? Hahahaha Brokeback Island?????? LostMyMarbles 04-14-2006, 10:55 AM Forget Jack and Sayid. How 'bout Jack and Sawyer? Eko and Charlie would be interesting, too. Kevonski 04-14-2006, 11:03 AM Shoulda took Hurley with him, then the net woulda never left the ground. *ducks* chemgirl81 04-14-2006, 11:47 AM Not to ruin the moment but could you imagin Jack and Sayid in the Trap? Hahahaha Yes I can and that is @#$^ing hilarious.:tongue1: Although a little too Brokeback Mountain. It's not feasible to fly back to Hawaii to do a 30 second shot. fourthpoliceman 04-14-2006, 03:31 PM Back to the thread now.lol. Benard mentioned Sayid was also building something. so, he's around. |
