Dear Mr. Garcia:

First, congratulations on acing a great gig on a great show.

Your character is obviously my kind of dude. Your character has mentioned "Jedi Mind tricks," marking him as a Sci-Fi Geek. Do you think there will come a time when he mentions "Lord of the Rings"? It's certainly not out of the realm of possibility - unless the series is not taking place in 2001-2004. Just a thought.

You were a stand-up comic before "Lost" I understand. When did you embark on this career? What made you choose it? What were your other options? As I mentioned in a letter for Mr. O'Quinn, it's late in my life, and I still don't know what to be when I grow up. I know quite a bit about every aspect of liberal arts - but I have to be given an assignment before I can produce. Fear of the blank page. What sent you in your direction?

Keep up the good work, dude (seen "The Big Lebowski"?).

Blessings,

Vilya

I officially entered it when I joined an acting class. I had a crappy day job and was hangin out with actors thinking I should get back into this because I'd wanted to be an actor since junior high.

Here's something to try.
Write down what you want. All of it. No apology. And see if a path shows up in what you write. Pick something. Don't sweat it and make such a big deal about it. Just pick something. You can change it tomorrow if you want but write it down, that is the first step.
