Does Michael have the sickness?
He just came back from Others' land and if we are to believe Danielle, they are the carriers (of the sickness).
And let's not forget the 2 months period both Danielle and Zeke mentioned.

Eh...I dont think that he's sick. In the new episode of LOST preview, it showed michael looking fine to me.

It depends on what the sickness is and what symptoms people show when they're infected...

It was Rousseau's own team that she was referring to that were carriers of the sickness. That's the reason she killed them -- she said she couldn't risk that getting back into civilization.

Of course she did tell Sayid to watch the other losties. That might be an indication that the sickness is more of a mental thing than a physical thing(and some of the losties are already mental if you ask me).

I think that wether Michael is sick or not it doesn't really matter. He is so intent on getting Walt back that I think that he is almost willing to do anything and yes I do mean anything like even betraying the other losties.

I have to admit I really like the idea of him being black-mailed. But I have had a feeling recently. This is pure speculation not spoiler or anything like that, just me thinking. Is there anybody else that thinks that Michael could get killed off? I really don't see how Walt could continue being a regular (The age thing is a problem), unless they jumped a head in the show a year or two. And if Walt isn't there, what would that do with Michael as a character?

I do not think that Michael looked sick when he showed up, just beat up, either by the Others or by wandering around in the jungle. However, the sickness may make an appearance anytime now (assuming Danielle isn't insane, hard to assume, but she has been pretty accurate so far). If the sickness starts Michael would be a good candidate to be the first with it. If the Others are the carriers, he apparantly has been around them. Of course so has Jack, Kate, Sawyer, AL, Locke, Eko, Charlie, and Sayid. So who knows.

hmmm, that is a good point. Maybe the *sickness* isn't really a physical sickness but the hallucinations that everyone has ? It's a mental sickness that the island somehow contributes to. Maybe Danielle thought everyone was going crazy with this sickness and killed them from her hallucinations of that being the cure? Just a crazy thought on my part ;)

GREAT SUGGESTION! most people assume sick means physically sick... but everyone is beginning to be a little shaky mentally, no? The only thing is if there is some sort of 60 day incubation period... some losties were seeing things from the first days, ie. Jack's dad, Walt, Kate's black horse... Any thoughts?

Possibly, the producers/writers have said many story lines will be answered in the last four episodes, and May Sweeps are coming up! But it would hurt the story abit, no? Michael is the only experiences construction worker, and if there is any sort of plot twist involving Michael, it'd be too quick to off him. Just a thought.
