I voted Kate, shes such a good character.

I'd say a tis between Locke and Hurley. Can you imagine Lost without him (no disrespect to the other charactors)? It just wouldn't be the same.

Also, Hurley provides the comic-relief for the show, whilst still having a interesting back-story.

And Arst, just because he was a character you don't see very often in shows (or at least not enough). A pedantic annoyance but smart all the same. And he had some good conversations (if you can call it that) with Hurley :P

erm i don't really have a favourite so i choswe Charlie as it must be hard having drugs withdrawals, then being kidnapped, hunged and everything

from season 1, definitely Locke. mystic and creepy, and good with knives. :biggrin:

Sooooooooooo darn hard to choose................... But I went with Hurley. I rewatched "Numbers" on E4 yesterday and it is one of the best flashbacks ever.

It is too hard to choose a fave character when I love them all!

I voted for everyone who was my favourite character for at least some point on Season 1.

First, my favourites were Charlie and Shannon.
Then it was Sun.
Then it was Locke.
Then it was Claire.
The it was Hurley.

I really love all the characters (ok Sayid annoys me a little bit) but my favourites are.....
Locke - do i need to explain why?
Kate - she's is very intriguing and has one of the best back stories aswell as being involved in the best on the island stories.

Sawyer and Locke by far. Sawyer has not only comic relief but also a wicked character and backstory. Locke is the man of the island, the one in touch with all the spooky stuff going on. He also has a kick *** backstory.

Sawyer - because he's got the best history behind him. Also becuase he's a bit of an outcast and so we don't know too much about him...

I voted for Locke. The guy is such an enigma. Terry O' Quinn is an excellent actor. Although, Kate is a close second too. Both of these characters are really mysterious.

It'll be interesting to see how different a similar poll will be after season 2 finishes, for example although Jin is a great character he's not very likable in S1 until Exodus and he's grown alot on me in S2.

Yeah i liked his flashback in s2 with Sun, i think it showed alot more funnier side and a vunerable side of him, id say hes one of my best now.
