Hi All:
I love your boards and appreciate being able to register and participate.* I have been hooked on Lost since the previews for the premier.* Currently, I am working on developing more excuses to leave my Wednesday night class early to catch Lost as it comes on...Help me...I am running out of stories... :fear3:

Welcome, welcome...come see the caves with me as I HELP you with your stories....tell me, what have you used so far?

You could always say that you've taken a new job to help PAY for the classes you are taking and you HAVE to work wednesday night now that we're getting close to the xmas hollidays and you absolutely MUST head out at least 10 minutes early to change and make it on time....

Welcome gillygorge

I have an idea:

Tell your instructor all about LOST, once he/she is sufficiently hooked, he/she will change the time of the class and all will be wallowing in LOSTgoodnes.

Hi speaker and Fox Fan:
Thank you for the excellent ideas!* Unfortunately, the prof knows about my current full time job so that one won't work.* I have gone the route of telling my friends in the class about Lost and have two of them trying to get out of class too!*

My list of excuses: I have to go back to work (left early); We're having car trouble and my husband is picking me up (left early); I'm sick (didn't go to class); I'm still sick (didn't go to class); I'm newly pregnant and sick (went but left early).* I think that is all of 'em so far - I had to catch some of the airings on Saturday night re-runs.*

Thanks for the invite to the caves - I'll need to check it out.* But, I am thinking that if I stay on the beach my excuse for next week could be a doozy - I'm newly pregnant, sick and have got crabs! :o

Thanks for the wonderful welcome and great boards,
Gilly

Maybe saying that you caught West Nile from the sand fleas would be a less embarrassing excuse then crabs . . .lol

Are you really newly pregnant, because if not in a few months that will be hard to explain?

Try telling your teacher that Locke the mysterious island god needs your help in using other survivors for its fiendish-disguised-as-good purposes and it would be dangerous not to obey . . .*

Hi Professor __________, I have a flesheating virus and fleas....(wait, is west nile the flesh eating one???)!

Yep - newly pregnant and I'm milkin' it (ok, no pun intended).

I am under the Locke's Island God's sway - anybody got a knife for next week's torture excuse?
