I was just rewatching "Special," Season 1 Episode 14. Can anyone else confirm a blonde woman next to Walt's mother, 27mins 18 sec's into the show (commercials removed)? I cannot find a picture of this on Lost-media. Do I have a bad copy of the episode or what?

I just re-watched this episode no less than an hour ago and i don't remember seeing a blonde woman next to Susan. Do you know which scene it is?

Susan sits down with her new husband because she feels sick. Walt says "You're not looking..." and then it cuts back to Susan and for a split second I can see a blonde woman in the background to Susans left, our (the viewers) right. Does anyone else see this?

Auuugh! Not this again.

Shadows of a plant on a wall do not equal a ghost.

I think I know what you are talking about, but I don't think it's a ghost. I'm pretty sure it is the nanny. You see her again when she give Michael the box with the cards in it.

No tundra wasn't on bout her or that scene. Tundra was talking bout the scene where Susan feels ill and the bird hits the window.

Yeah, the nanny in the background. Or is there another different woman too? Ah well. I'll have to watch it later.

The nanny wasn't in the scene where susan was sick. The nanny was only in the scene where she gave michael the box

no, I seriously think it was something wrong with my file for that episode, I'm downloading another one to have another look. Didn't mean to cause an uproar without double checking first.

Pretty sure TPTB discussed this long ago, when the episode aired. It was either someone working on the set in the background or a reflection in the mirror, but either way not intentional at all. Sometimes not every mistake gets edited out. This was discussed last season, so there are other threads around discussing this, Thanks

Heres your proof

what mirror? Why wouldn't Javi just say it was a mistake? Why be elusive about it? I mean as a person connected with the show he could have said it was a mistake.

http://www.thefuselage.com/Threaded/showthread.php?t=36111&highlight=ghost+special Its been addressed here. He said they didnt put it there, what more could you want? If they didnt put it there, its not intentional and its a mistake. Javi's post seems to convey that he didnt know it was there, but he did know it wasnt PUT there.

Oh yeah, I remember this discussion way back in Season 1. It was eventually concluded that the woman was a member of the crew who was accidentally caught on film in that scene.

But I like the idea of a "ghost" beside Susan much better! ;)
