I still can't figure quite why this picture was on Isaac's wall. I'm not even sure what it is (though I have some ideas). The picture is from the upper left hand corner of the wall. The image below is enlarged and brightened/color corrected:

Perhaps there were lots of clues on that wall. I must freeze frame it and look more closely at it.

All those zimmer frames and crutches hangin from the walls and ceiling was kinda freaky!

To me it looks like a mountain or castle surrounded by water and clouds??? Could it be a drawing some child/patient did for him? Almost looks like it was done with Magic Markers or something.

Could it have been the front of a postcard? You know from one of those freaky holy sites that people visit and are fleeced for souvenirs?

I agree its something in the water. But to me it looks more like a statue of a woman with it's platform starting at her knees. Her right arm is bent like in a salute (or shileding eyes from glare). Bottom of the picture is wave pounding shoreline. Horizontal blackline that separates the blue from the white may be shoreline behind her....Maybe it's a postcard of some Danish statue, sent by our old friend, Alvar. :biggrin:


One more thing: Her left arm is missing.:eek: Hmmmm......

In "Dave" I remember seeing a picture of what looks like "the" island in Hurley's doctor's office so perhaps this is just a picture of "the" island that connects Rose to it. In all honesty, on first look it resembles Jesus looking down on some water....

At inital glance it reminds me of Indian Diety cards...Pictures of Hindu Dieties....certainly there is water and some writing. It is intriguing.

I'd agree it looks like a buddist godess from India or China... but I think it'd be incidental, just don't think the producers would put something so ill defined and out of focus, unlike previous easter eggs. Just a thought

It is totally understandable if it might look like to some that this card was done with Magic Markers (or cheapo DHARMA branded knock-offs of those markers). I think that resemblance is merely a byproduct of the image's low resolution (remember this is an enlargemant of a tiny portion of a much larger source image). Likewise for if it appears (as it did to at least one poster) tha there is writing on the card. That, I am pretty sure, has to do with the heavy pixelation of the image.

I don't know if this a image is significant or not, but it seemed so out of place on the wall that I figured nothing lost by getting people's takes on what it might be, so all interpretations of the image are appreciated.

And, no, this is not a psychological test -- though seeing nothing will get you a zero grade. (Just kidding.)

I see everything that has been posted here, i.e. the cow, writing, picture on top of postcard maybe. But i'm going to go with fourthpoliceman on this and say that I think it is too obscure of a clue to be of much significance and my eyes hurt from looking at it.

My first impression is "seabilly Zeke" on a raft shading his eyes looking towards? the island, a ship, who knows? Either that or the Morton Salt girl...you know when rains it pours.:laughing:

Looks like a Catholic prayer card to me, you know the kind you get at funerals and such, Jesus or Infant of Prague standing in front of some waves, they usually have an image onthe front and a prayer on the back side, very common among Catholic families, I have a drawer full of them...

I agree the word looks to be "casino". The only alternative I came up with it is "castno" which, if one wanted to stretch things a bit, could be "cast, no", as in meaning the pictures on the wall are NOT younger versions of the Lost cast. I admit that is a stretch. My first impression was "casino", so am sticking with that.

I think the first one looks like Jesus walking on water.
The second one def. looks like Casino, but under it looks like a rising sun.

There's also Dr. Phil on the wall ! :biggrin:

Are you taking these pics from screen caps you did yourself or from the high res caps at Lost Media?

these are defently WAY to blurry to get ANY accurate idea of what they are, assuming they even have some significants, which i think is unlikely.

Though for the record, the one everyone keeps sayign is Casino, I saw ASIMO, so perhaps a toy robot is behind it all. thats my best guess

These images were culled from a high resolution screen capture found the internet. They appear like they are low resolutiom only because they are enlargements of very small portions of the orginal image.

they are much too blurry to figure anything out with...I think we should be concentrationg on the map...

It is Casino it is a photo of the front of a casino like in Vegas or Atlantic city with all the lights making up the words . Like the Flamingo Casino etc.

I think the clue here is not any individual image more so the wall as a whole along with the crutches etc.
