I absolutely loved the voiceover on this episode! So overly dramatic ...... it made me feel like I was watching a nature documentary ("Watch the cunning Locke as he stalks his prey through the steamy jungle") ... or an old time suspense show .... ("what will befall our brave heroes this week? Tune in next time to hear Kate say--")
LOL made a boring recap show hilarious

:lol1: I'm pretty sure that everytime I see Locke from now on, that phrase will ring in my ears accompanied by bombastic nature documentary music. Awesome!

Huh. Didn't know about Peter Coyote. I'd love to see him on Lost too. Does he do the "previously on Lost" too?

I really liked the narrarator last night. He reminded me of the narrarator from Michael Jacksons "Thriller" video. lol. Very entertaining.

Sorry, but that narration was HORRIBLE! I felt like keeping the mute on.
I work at a radio station where I see (and hear) MANY voice talents. I'm also in charge of who sounds good for what commercial. Whoever matched that voice with premise needs to be fired. It sounded like a 70's Disney documentary from Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom.
"There goes the clumsy bear.."
Don't get me wrong, his voice was good, just NOT for this show. Maybe a recap for Grey's Anatomy or something.ABC should've spent some good money on real voice talent and got the same guy that says "Previously on LOST" or Chris Corley from FOX promos.

Vincent Price is in a whole different class than Peter Coyote, not better just different.

You know who would have been perfect?
Dennis Haysbert from 24 (If he quit doing those insurence commercials long enough to get that out of your head.)

I seem to remember hearing somewhere that it was important who the voice was that did all the "previously on lost" stuff...and that narrator really sounded like the same guy. Sorry I don't remember where I saw that! Maybe the official Lost podcast?

Peter Coyote has voiced all of the "recap" episodes of LOST aired on ABC and I LOVE IT! IF you don't know what he looks like check him out www.petercoyote.com (http://www.petercoyote.com) and then try to imagine him as a LONG time inhabitant of the island telling their story in retrospect- much further in the future. Perhaps as the person who finally frees or rescues them?
He did an excellent turn recently on the 4400 and I've loved him since he played the DA in Jagged Edge.
