"What's a four letter word for I don't care?" is to this day one of my favorite comebacks. Comes in handy sometimes.

I also literally laughed out loud when she asks Boone about Locke: "Is he your new boyfriend?" just because I knew a thousand brand new slash stories would explode all over livejournal.

Of course, the number1 Shannon quote will always be: "Boone... God's friggin' gift to humanity!" For a while there, I couldn't even say his name without adding God's friggin' gift to humanity at the end.

As far as favorite moments go... Her asthma crisis in Confidence Man stands out because we got to see her battle her worst fears and Maggie acted the hell out of that scene. On a personal level, I had to watch it through squinted eyelids because my mom has asthma and we went through a similar situation once. I know the feeling of hopelessness and gut-wrenching fear was overwhelming, for both Shannon and Jack. And well, they were my first two favorite characters from the very beginning, so like I said... that scene stands out for me. I miss her.

When she insults DRIVESHAFT.

Seeing her run was funny too... but i won't start slagging her.

I think most of her scenes were brilliant. Esp the one's in "The Greater Good" When she was upset over boone and wanted to kill Locke.

When Hurley was taking the census asking everyone for their name and address, she responds "Shannon Rutherford. Craphole Island."
And I love the way Daniel at TWOP picked it up as the permanent segue from flashbacks to island scenes -- "Back on Craphole Island, Michael is building something.."

I like the scenes with her and Boone, they were always at each other's throats. I also liked her singing at the end of WTCMB. I miss Shannon.
