I'm thinking when you try to sign up and it says to call the call center in the TV ad, it could mean the comercial they are going to show on tomorrow's episode.

Edit: Someone said earlier that the code for the sign in thing is "break strain" but it's "breaking strain". After you put that in go message Joop. In his brain thing I found a button. When you click it a female voice says "The Hanso Foundation, setting world speed records for subverting authority."

Edit: Also found that in the letters when you click Peter Thompson's name.

Also here's some other things:

-Click on "active projects", then on "Worldwide Wellness and Prevention Development Program". Click on "World Map". Then move your cursor around the east coast of America. You can click on an unmarked location. Put your cursor over the box where the info is shown with the other places, a very faint box should appear. Print screen, put it into paint, invert colors, zoom. Nothing legible to me, but you might see something.

-Go to "Joop's Corner". Click on "Send Joop a message here" on the right side of the screen under the pic. click on "send" on the right side. Be warned, scary monkey pic appears, nothing too weird, just him with his mouth open, screaming. Anyway, a thing will appear with his brain or something. Click on the highlighted circles to connect them. You can read the letter that pops up. It's about a new Meningococcal strain in Africa and stuff. Click on the signature at the bottom to read the letter that they sent next, an apology letter. Click on the highlighted name at the bottom, it will say why they are apologizing.

-Click "Newsletter (sign up)". Type in your name, or any other thing. To respond to the messages that appear, click on the text box again to type. You will be asked for a password. If you're in the UK, you would call the number from the commercial during LOST, but in the rest of the world, just type in "breaking strain" without the quotes. BTW, the messages on the phone ask you to press a number to talk to a Hanso person, they all lead to a recording saying "______isn't here" and stuff. It mentions an offshore drilling platform by Korea, and Widmore. Anyway, enter the code. Congrats, you're in Dharma-land. Nothing new it says, but check back.

-Go back to "Joop's corner". Click on "send Joop a message". Then just leave the screen. Open up a new window for the net and do some browsing. You'll have to wait like an hour. Go back to the Joop page. You'll see that some scribbles have appeared, along with some red, what looks like writing. Every few minutes, the cam will go mostly black, and a man's head's sillhouette will appear. Dunno who it is, but still creepy. It looks like a bald guy, almost like Locke. Don't close the screen, if you do and decide to come back, you'll have to wait for the scribbles to appear again. I suggest print screening.

On any page, click near the bottom of the window, below the bottom left corner of the grey window that all the info is in, about a cm below it, and it makes the green background splotches move... odd. I found that using the tab button, which in flash highlights all clickable objects in yellow.

Ok, I'm totally overwhelmed by this website. I have no idea if I'm cut out for this Lost Experience!
But the website is awesome. I am so freaked out by the newsletter sign up! It won't stop being freaky!

i agree with you. but it is so intriging. regarding the newsletter sign up. when i got to the message. it said there was no message yet (not in those words). all i found was Joop and a letter about an outbreak between human and animal. i hope tomorrow we get more passwords.

There are three red dots you can click on to see what work Hanso is doing in developing countries.
There is a 'hidden' fourth dot in the area of the Bermuda Triangle. Nothing appears to come up....
...tilt your screen back (easier if you have a laptop) and you can see a series of code and symbols, and a list of numbers...

what about the red smudge that appears on the joop webcam?
if you leave the window open for a while, when the black lines become more and more, a red smudge appears. could be some kind of sentence, has anyone checked it out?

Maybe not! You will love this fan site that theorizes on all the LOST characters representing Greek mythological figures, and also that LOST draws heavily on Robert Temple's book, The Sirius Mystery. Hi I'm in the UK and the Hanso TV ad was shown last night. I called the number hoping to find some clues however there was only a recored message that says "You have reached the Hanso Foundation, due to unforeseen circumstances this line has been closed. To find out more about the hanso foundation go to hansofoundation.org" If your interested in trying to call your self the number is 0800 66 66 44.

So not really any good info or clues i'm affraid.

If you rang last night you could chose from an automated menu, it was all very strange, it's all in these previous posts but not too much has happened. Im guessing they are waiting for Australia and USA to get in on it before it really kicks off.

Just a quick observation - the writer of the apology letter that can be viewed by clicking the blue bubbles in Joop's brain is one Peter Thompson. The name is even circled in red. So this Peter Thompson guy worked for the Global Health Organization, right? And for some reason the GHO dropped their threats toward the Hanso Foundation, right? Think that might be connected to the fact that the Hanso Foundation's vice president, general counsel, and secretary is none other than PETER THOMPSON?

Ok, that is really interesting about the meningococcal disease. I didn't know what it was.. here is some info.:

Catching it
Meningococcal disease is caused by bacteria (not by a virus), and transmitted via saliva. Meningococcal bacteria can live harmlessly in our throat and nose. So, the photo of Alvar Hanso is from 2003, or, wait, 1980? Which is it? I am leaning to the orientation video being phony. Another question tho. Why is there only 1 picture of old Alvie? Does he even exist? I am starting to think that he is not real, merely a face to put on an organization that has its hands in many pockets, including the GWC.

A minor thing I noted, but I didn't see a reference to it. It appears that The Numbers appear while the flash is loading up, interspersed among the real percentage measurement. I haven't looked to see if there is a pattern yet, but I think that that's the reason why The Numbers are in the source which timdorr decompiled. It's probably just an easter egg, rather than a real clue, based on the seemingly random way they display, but I'm not going to swear to it.

The whole Alvar Hanso thing is very interesting, some of the old HF site stuff said he was around during WW2 and that he's still running the foundation today, maybe Alvie has extended his own life, afterall that is one of the HF's projects. or like you said, maybe there is no such person.

Sound On is just the music. Click to Sound Off and you still get the music, it's accompanied by random banging/percussive sounds. Even more annoying if you try to remember your Morse Code!

Since the entire "site" seems to be one large Flash applet, if you want to get a closer look at things you can just zoom in. Just right click on the site (or control-click if you're on a Mac with a one-button mouse) and select "Zoom In" from the Flash Player contextual menu. This helped me easily read the hidden text on the WWPD map of the undisclosed location. This technique might help us unearth other clues as well.

Hi all....second post here....second today, actually, but i'm obsessed. Anyhow, couple of interesting things i've noted....first, the Persephone thing....the numbers aren't the only password that works....first thing we thought of here was Cerebrus, the guardian of hell...Persephone was married to Hades, afterall. Worked like a charm.

The other thing relates to the numbers in the Bermuda image....the first bit is wing-dings and then some math symbols...haven't translated yet to get the equation but the sequences: 13 9 19 19 9 14 7 and 15 18 7 1 14 19 struck me immediately because of another theory that I've developed in re: the numbers (I posted some observations on it over in the theories section earlier today...needs a bit of editing to make it a bit clearer, and maybe others have come up with it, but i hadnt seen it) I'm gonna translate the rest of that equation out and see what i can do with it.

Happy birthday Amber! Yeap, i posted a link to a quote from wikipedia on the myth of persephone.
on the one hand, it's pure speculation on whether alex is in fact persephone or not, like i said, a shot in the dark. i mean, we have no factual idea if there is any form of communication between the island and the "real world", however, thinking that walt (we assume) and michael were in touch via computer, and the dharma intranet mentioned in the ? map is mentioned, perhaps there is some kind of way to hack in and communicate. my point is this, again: of all the aliases a person can choose to use, why this one in particular? besides, tabby rasa posted a link to a website where there are all the possible connections between the lost characters and the greek mythology, where alex is connected to persephone, again.
i'd call it a stretch to say that everyone is related to a mythological character, since traces of any world myth characters can be found inspiring any fictional character, but this hint seems to be plausible.
i really don't know if this is the right thread to put this info, so if the mods want to move it to Theories, it's ok. i don't want to clutter the experience with speculation :biggrin:...

I just went back and did the game again, once you enter breaking strain and send to joop you get everything the same except one thing.
The text at the end of the second letter something about "Hanso foundation setting records" has changed from Large Times New Roman, to something smaller and more messy.
That appears to be a change, so something has got to give!

I noticed something on the picture captions.On the caption of Hanso in the Bios section it has a date under the picture october 28,2001.This very same date is under a picture in the ERI section of the active projects section. "in the early hours of october 28,2001" and a picture of some kind of electric/atmospheric display.

Running with that, here are some other notable occurrances on that day in history:

1943 - The Philadelphia Expirament supposedly happened
2004 - Total lunar eclipse

Ok, so on the newsletter page, I did some experimenting. The following all work: the number sequence, cerebrus, flame, pearl, and staff. These were all the ones associated with the show....so i decided to try some other stuff, and plugged in Hades, the husband of Persephone, and that worked. Tried Zeus, and it said "gotta go", then went back and tried it again and it worked fine....seems like it'l take just about anything

I also noticed that on this same page, the logos and the text underneath (which ostensibly spells out each acronym) do not match. For the ERI and MHA logos, the small print text lists the 'Educational Outreach Imperative' instead. But I haven't seen such an initiative/project anywhere else on the site, including under the Active Projects tab. Any thoughts on this? Could be a typo, but it happens twice, which makes me think it might be intentional...

Help! I can't even get logged in. I've tried typing "breaking strain" in the login and it does nothing. I've tried typing it as a user name for the newsletter and I just get the weird screen and music and then can't do anything but close it. What in the world am I doing wrong? If I'm having this much trouble already, I'm going to have a heck of a time with this whole game. Can anyone offer any suggestions to why I can't get logged in?

This is not so much of an update or clue as a comment on something I noticed when I zoomed in on the executive bios section. Dr. Thomas Werner Mittlewerk is
1.) An extremely creepy looking individual

2.) Seems to be the only official affiliated with the foundation that is a "doctor" or at least uses the title (kind of odd considering how much of their efforts are aimed at bettering humanity through health organizations).

3. He has one of the most foreboding personal quotes I've ever heard, "Science has laid bare the tools of change. It is the responsibility of a trusted few to shepherd humanity to a greater future."

Be warned, scary monkey pic appears, nothing too weird, just him with his mouth open, screaming. Anyway, a thing will appear with his brain or something. Click on the highlighted circles to connect them. You can read the letter that pops up. It's about a new Meningococcal strain in Africa and stuff. Click on the signature at the bottom to read the letter that they sent next, an apology letter. Click on the highlighted name at the bottom, it will say why they are apologizing.

I think those highlighted circles may represent our Lost Island Hatches. If so, there may be more than we have previously thought.

I find the messages to be a bit different every time. There is not static always, and Persephone doesn't always butt in either.. So maybe try calling more than once.

Scroll through the quote to Peter Thompsons Audio and notice the reference to Paik-Heavy Industries. Paik as in Mr. Paik and Heavy as in Hurley Heavy? I have always thought, as a lot of you have, that Mr. Paik was Dharma related...could this be the proof?

Ok, this may be a complete long shot.. well isn't everything at this point? :p But you know the 'missing organs' puzzle? Well that kind of made me think about how the Others took the kids off the beach from the tailies, and Walt and Aaron. and well they just seem to like children a whole lot.

And so on the Hanso site, I notice that all of their hospitals are in developing countries. Gambia, Guinea, Ethiopia, Somalia and Rwanda. In all of those places there are cases of missing organs. This is a pretty big problem there, even so much that orphanages are threatened to hand over children every once in awhile. They take organs out of children only, to make magic charms and take it pretty seriously.

I'm not saying that this is the reason why the hospitals are in those places... I just don't think that they're doing what they say they're doing. and I'm grasping at straws. :D

I saw this mentioned around page 4 of this thread but no one commented further. I noticed this too, and it has piqued my curiousity.

On the bottom left of the screen on the main page, there is a spot where your cursor registers something. If yo click on it, it moves the green spotlights in the background from the top and right, to the middle, to the bottom left. I don't know what the purpose of this is, maybe it changes settings on other layers of the website. Any ideas? Do we have any tech savvy people who could figure this out? If layers are involved, then it could be a Myst like thing, where you have to adjust the background before new things out.

Also, to the person asking about revamps on the Oceanic sites. I'm a reg on the oceanicflight815 forums. We have been having a lot of problems with our forum...ridiculous downtimes and errors. They are doing a lot of work on out site, but we haven't seen any of it yet. So i don't know if this is for better or worse, just yet. On thing that might bode well (though humorous) it that on the barcode at the bottom of the main page (the one that gives you the "zombie script page", the 'submit' button has changed in the past week or so. I have no idea what this means, but it HAS changed...although nothing else seems to have. :undecide:

If anyone is interested in a comprehensive and concise summary post on everything that we have learned so far, i've got one up over on http://thecoconutinternet.com. I can't remember if you have to register to see the threads or not. But i've been updating it all day, scouring all of the forums like this one to collect the info. I think i've done a good job of giving credit where due. I will keep updating this throughout the game (i have probably updated it 20 times today). It might be a good reference place, at least until DocArzt over at the tailsetion get his thelostexperience.com up and running on May 4.

On the bottom left of the screen on the main page, there is a spot where your cursor registers something. If yo click on it, it moves the green spotlights in the background from the top and right, to the middle, to the bottom left

Now, I just noticed,

that when you click between Joops Corner and Send Joop a message, if you do a print screen, and paste in MSPAINT, you definately get a faint image of the man in the MHA (mental health awarenett) and he is the image fainting in and out.

SO I am guessing that he is part of the next clue.

Actually, it's a little deeper than that. I believe that the image is what's making the text in the Joop's Corner area flicker, as well. I think that image is under that area as long as you don't leave the Joop-related section.

Interesting coincidence that probably means nothing - the man's eyes match up with "Joop" and Hanso respectively in the Joop's Corner writeup.

I think perhaps someone with good Photoshop-Fu might want to take a look at the master version of the picture and see if there's anything hidden. In the AI game, there was something good hidden on the green channel of a particular photo - maybe there's something similar here?

You might have to change your view screen, go up to the toolbar, to view:fullscreen

Someone over at the tailsection said that when she clicked it 5 times fast that she got a message on the screen saying something along the lines of "the teacher in Rwanda is Cindy". I can't get it to do this. So i don't know if this person was telling the truth, or if she was on a different page than me when she did this, but i think it bears investigating. If whe wasn't yanking my chain, than that would be a significant discovery.

First post, but I think I noticed something that hasn't been said. In the intro, the woman points to the panel on the left of the screen, and all the links that appear on the main site show up, with the addition of a "Contact" link (which isn't actually a link as it is just in the intro. Wondering if this meant anything.

Even though i'm a new poster too, i'll say hello and welcome!

A few of us on another forum i know noticed this, but i don't think i've heard anyone being able to figure anything out as to why there is this discrepancy. Also, you may have noticed that there are several research projects that are missing. I'm not sure what this means, but it all might be important later.

OK, so meterology is now under mathematical forecasting. Utopian social whatsit is genomic advancement, forecasting and world-wide wellness. Psychology (and possibly parapsychology) is mental health. Electromagnetism is the same. Zoology probably covered by genomic advancement and life extension. So they're all still covered.

New poster too, even though I've been lurking for months.

Well, are the projects really missing? After all there is a message somewhere (can't remember where) about putting a public face on the Hanso Foundation work - so what's to say the projects just haven't simply been renamed? (I work in PR and putting a spin on unpleasant things wouldn't surprise me!) The eugenics progamme could now be the Genomic Advancement, the remote viewing programme could now be the "mental health" programme.

Does anyone have a list of the previous programmes so we can see if they tally up with the new fluffy face of Hanso?

YEAH, finally...

I had to turn of the status bar and hit F11 to go full screen, to be able to see that bit before I had to right click>show all and doing that allways resized the whole thing so the 2006 Hanso Foundation message was at the very bottom of the screen, but I got it now, thanks myothercarisflight815...

i figured it out, but still, i'm having trouble believing that john kerry and george sr. both agreed to be in an advertisement for a fake website to keep the watchers of an equally fake tv show entertained over the summer lol.
although the kerry footage could be taken from a campaign commercial, and until we get sound, we have no idea, george sr. could have been photoshopped (i don't really know the technical term) from another tape and put in front of waves you know?

Okay, so I've been checking the registry information for the various sites that are reported to be linked... (oceanicairlines.com, thehansofoundation.org) the only thing I could find of interest is regarding the hanso foundation site.

The registry information of this site is not protected. Basically, if you take a look out who the oceanic airlines site is registered to, you will see that it is registered to a third party, who basically act on the register's behalf, prohibiting the general public from gaining access to the personal details of the person the website is registered to.

However, this is not the cause for the hanso foundation website. Now, while this may just be down to the fact that when the site was originally registered, the creators weren't away of the potential problems of people gaining access to their personal information, however it seems slightly odd to me.

The Hanso Foundation website is registered in the name of the hanso foundation, complete with an address (which I believe has been mentioned before, it's in Denmark). However, the register's e-mail address is linked as mexicanlunch@hotmail.com. I would like to point out that I in no way advocate sending e-mails to this individual, as it is very possibly a site designer or individual who was merely involved in the creative process. However, if they are taking things seriously with regards to this, it's quite possibly a clue and worth looking into.

For those who haven't noticed it yet, there is a "button" diagonally lower-left of the "2006 Hanso Corporation tag" in the lower left hand corner of the screen (screen must be expanded so that you can explore below that window tag).

Clicking on that "button" rotates the circles through a cycle of 5 positions.

1) big green circle in lower right hand corner; "sick" green circle near top left
2) big green circle shifting slightly to the left with the medium green circle coming down to meet it and moving to the right of the big green circle; "sick" green circle doesn't move much
3) all circles move towards lower left corner
4) big green circle moves back to lower right; "sick" green circle to top right
5) another move towards lower left corner for most circles, but slightly different than 3rd position

rinse and repeat

Now, the circles also move on their own when navigating the website, following the same pattern.

Not sure if the circles (particularly perhaps the "sick," irradiated-looking green circle) can be moved in different positions to help reveal hidden information.

What is an RSS feed, and how do you subscribe to one?

An RSS feed is what allows you to get content from a frequently updating website, like a blog, delivered directly to you. Instead of having to go and check a site regularly and never knowing if it has been updated, the updates are sent to you as soon as they occur.

You subscribe by using an application called an RSS aggregator. There are standalone programs and browser plug-ins you can use for this, but I personally use the free Web-based service at (I hope it's OK to post a link here) http://www.bloglines.com (http://www.bloglines.com/) . Once you've set up an account there, you can log in, click on the Add tab at the top of the right-hand column, and paste in the URL from the page that comes up when you click on the Subscribe button on the Hanso page.

Okay, I don't know if this has been mentioned before. I've just read all the posts, but may have missed this. If you keep the joop webcam open for a long, long time, you will notice a couple of things..

First, the red stripe seems to have some text hidden in it. I'm trying to read it, but it's not clear enough yet.

The other thing is, the image turns almost all black. But there are still some parts of the image remaining. And maybe I'm getting a little carried away, but it almost looks like the eye of some kind of alien or something.

Someone tell me if I'm going insane and seeing things, lol...

ETA: Maybe no alien eyes... but there is an oddly shaped head and some big ears! Maybe it's the image of the person that you can already see in the image before it goes dark.

If you go to the area on the site where you send "Joop" a message and watch the webcam for several minutes, a faint outline of a face with eyes appears on his forehead. Occasionally, Joop is replaced by the dark outline of a man (maybe bald), who seems to be screaming or something...

I think there is something evil behind the way Joop's life has been extended...

I was looking at the Hanso website and notices two strange things. By hitting tab you can see hidden links, one is in the lower left hand are of the screen, in the black. All this seems to do is change the lights in the background. A stranger one is in the map page of Hanso hospitals. There is an invisible hospital where cuba would be with no information attached. It probably is some secret link, but I couldnt find anything.

Choose this hospital and bring your mouse over the area under the map of the location and the blank grey window. I clicked multiple times and some weird looking text flickered on and off. Hopefully someone may know what this is.

My first post so forgive me if if done incorrectly. Would be great to have a Flash expert to check out the site. I noticed a couple of things and think the green circles do mean something. On some of the pages if you extend your window so it's wider than the flash movie you see a big arrow on the side or bottom (make browser window too tall/narrow). It's not on all pages and is in different locations when it does appear.

Not sure if this has been mentioned yet, but on the "Joop's Corner" page, Just under the handwritten "Joop's Corner" in the upper left hand of the screen, there is a place to input text. I tried to put something in and hit enter, and it disappeared, so I'm assuming that it actually took input and did something with it. What, I'm not sure.

Unfortunately, I can't get the video to play ... I downloaded the swf-file, opened it, right-clicked on the green screen but all I get is a picture similar to the thehansofoundation.org-site and an empty window that looks like it might be trying to connect to another Flash-video but nothing happens. I can't see any video at all ... :confused: Do you happen to know the name or address of that video itself instead of the player? Thanx a lot in advance for your support!

This might have been stated already but when you are on the Hanso site and you right click to "Show All" you see a login field and "RSS". What's up with that?

On the website, Dr. Thomas Werner Mittlelwerk has a pic attached and it looks remarkably like the head hybrid all-around-bad-dude "Szura" on Invasion. I could swear it was him!

So does this create some connection between aliens and LOST? Or maybe just a connection between that show and our show? Last season there were all sorts of crossover references between LOST and Alias.

I was pretty sure TPTB said the LOST mysteries didn't have anything to do with aliens. :undecide:

I noticed that too. I assumed she was speaking in another language and it was just translated to English. I'll try to read her lips next time I go to the site.

This kinda refers to what I was talking about before with the possible link between LOST and Invasion. In Invasion, a hybrid population went berserk in Cuba.

If you are looking at the map with the island in the Middle of the Atlantic Ocean, that is certainly NOT Cuba. Maybe the Canary Islands but I have to look more closely.

Hey... the info is coming too fast for me to check on everythign that's already been posted, but on the Joop page, after clicking on the circles and reading the two letters, it comes back and you see the little story about passing a milestone. Well, on my screen, there seems to be some sort of nearly transparent white image flickering over the text. it makes some of the letters appear faded a bit.

I've brought it into photoshop and messed with levels and such to see if any image appeared, but it just makes a blog. But there's definitely something there. Anyone else notice this?

the problem is that no one is reading the thread and we are drowning in trout. People are asking and answering the same questions they were asking and answering in the first few pages of the thread. If people would actually read the thread before posting, all of their questions would be answered and the thread would be 1/5 its current length without the redundancies.

If every time a new person joins the game and they don't read the boards and instead post about every question they have, this forum will quickly become too unwieldy to be of use and completely non-functional.

However, we have been given exactly ONE thread in which to discuss the entire site of hansofoundation.org so this is what is going to happen.

If a player comes to the Lost Experience forum and has one question about the hanso site, they will look at this thread which is already 22 pages long and think, forget it! So they just tack their question onto the end of it. Who wants to spend another hour trying to sift through piles of info? This is the problem with the new moderator rule of squashing every post together into one gigantic thread. You end up with a constantly repeating loop of same-o same-o that no one reads.:rolleyes:

It would be so much easier if we were allowed to create different individual threads in which to discuss maps, passwords, projects, or hanso board members. Then all someone would have to do is quickly scan the titles and click the most relevant one. You can't quickly scan anything when you are wading through 20 pages of one thread.

Edited to add: I actually read every single post in this entire thread before I posted anything - but I find I am in the very small minority of Fuseleers to do this, especially when all the merging creates such huge threads.

LOL. I also was interested in what the whitish stuff was on the Joop text. I took a screen capture to paint to mess around with - nothing. Decided to print it out and almost threw up when I saw what was there on the printed paper.

I kinda wasn't sure if you were yanking my chain on the printout thing, but I did the same thing and sure enough, there's the guy. And once you know what the picture is, you can see the shape of the white overlay does indeed match the highlights on the guy's face.

So is the implication that this guy's brain has been implanted into Joop's body? Is there a more sinister connection between the two?

When you go to active projects and then to the mental health appeal link there is a space on the right to click that says Inquire today. It open a space that says tell us more about yourself. No matter what I put in there I get a session timed out message. Has anyone else figured out anything here?

Also has there been any mention that the profile of the pictire of Alvar Hanso really looks like that of Jacks Dad. Could he be on the life extension project and maybe just made to look dead for transport or something?

I could be grabbing at anything but the picture really reminds me of Jack's Dad.

Hi all,

In the introductory monologue given by the woman on the hanso website, there are points where the audio doesn't appear to match the movements of her lips, which to me implies that, at some point, they must have filmed her saying something else. I could be wrong on this, but with as well put together as the rest of the site is, it doesn't seem likely that they would miss something as simple as matching the audio and video tracks correctly. Can anyone read lips to figure out what she's really saying? Could be a waste of time, or could be important. If it's the former, I apologize in advance.

At the website, under the active projects tab, under Worlwide Wellness and Prevention program heading, clicking on map that comes up if clicking between South America and Africa (approx where Atlantis is purported as being) there is a dot with a blank screen, moving mouse to text section of said screen and there are some funky characters that come up

It´s hard to be accurate, since the map isn't clear... but I would rather think it is located in Anguilla, St. Kitts, Montserrat or Guadeloupe.... one of those islands

I know this probably doesn't mean anything but while I was reading the bio for Peter Thompson, it occured to me that lost has been likened a lot to Stephan King's The Stand! The bio mentions that Peter Thompson was from Terre Haute in Indiana, this is where one of The Stands main characters 'Trash Can Man' was in a mental institute for most of his chilhood!!! ...........or maybe just useless information lol!

In the letter that I posted earlier, the Director of the Global Welfare Consortium is Jacques Maillot. His letter, Sept. 19th 2005, is very critical of the Hanso Foundation.

If you click on his signature you are shown another letter that is apologizing for the "heated and alarmist tone" of the previous letter. This new letter is signed by the new Acting Director of the Global Welfare Consortium - Peter Thompson.

Peter Thompson is an Executive in the Hanso Foundation.... simply put, when the Global Welfare Consortium started putting pressure on the Hanso Foundation, the Hanso Foundation simply replaced the Global Welfare Consortium's Director with one of their own Executives.

Kind of out of the blue, but I’m personally very interested in “Liddy Wales” from the board of directors. Why can’t we access their information? And why is Liddy’s picture missing of ALL the photos? Well, the first thing that jumped out to me is that if you mirror the d’s in Liddy, you get Libby. Granted, this is WAY out there, but there’s just a lot that’s not adding up. Especially concerning Libby’s connection with mental health, I also find it odd that the picture that seems to keep popping up is the man from the mental health page. And considering that...

I just discovered something else interesting about the site. On the Worldwide Wellness and Prevention page, the hospitals that are named are actually real hospitals. I just got a kick out of the fact that they used real places. And here's something really interesting. The text below came from a site that came up in google after typing in "Mogadishu Hospital"

About 13 cases of meningitis among under five and 11 cases among the over 5 years were reported in the same south Mogadishu hospital in the last three months of Sept. These cases of meningitis are identified when the weather/seasonal conditions are not favourable for any outbreak or abnormal increases.

In the letter, it talks about meningococcal outbreaks, but when you google meningitis and meningococcal, it reveals that they are basically the same thing. They even share a page on the CDC web site. I don't really know what to do with all this, but it's interesting, don't you think?

I tried Googling the hospitals.. but couldn't find them. Only Universities in the same area with the same name..

But I took note of where all the hospitals are located: Gambia, Guinea, Ethiopia and Somalia.. as well and the picture with a woman who is standing infront of a hospital in Rwanda. So all of these hospitals are in developing countries.

Take in the 'missing organs' puzzle.. and all of these places have cases of missing organs.. especially with children. They sell them to businessmen as charms which bring financial good luck. They only take the organs from children, and groups of people sometimes threaten orphanages to hand over a few kids every now and then. Do you think this is related to Lost (the show) where the Others have a habit of taking children..? The 2 from the tailies, Walt, Aaron, and a few select 'good' people? Do you think what they mean by 'good' = healthy organs or something? Am I out of my head.. yes.. but it's still interesting!

I will definitely keep the 'missing organs' puzzle in the forefront during this entire Experience.. it has to mean something!
