No one has mentioned this yet, I don't think, but the funniest moment of the episode, and probably of the whole series so far was when Locke and Eko discover another hatch. This time, though, Eko is able to break the lock with an ax and all that dynamite stuff from last time isn't needed. Seeing the hatch can be opened so easily, Locke goes, "May I?"

I guess you had to be there. . . .

I don't think the original hatch had a latch. But amusing nonetheless. My lol moment is when Locke tells Eko about the dream, but doesn't tell him he falls in it!

I dunno, I don't think you can beat Eko's "Do you want to watch that again?" line.

Eko is Locke now in many ways now, but I think that may change soon.. I hope!

I loved the look on Locke's face when he said 'May I?".. he was so cute and excited.

Locke is such a hatch nerd. I got a kick out of his exuberance.

Laughed out loud at Sawyer's "the artist formerly known as Henry" line, thinking about all the names he has been given here, including that one.:)

Slightly off topic, but there didn't appear to be a "QUARANTINE" sign on the reverse side of the station door. Could the idea of "the sickness" be part of the human behavior experiment in Station 3? If so, Danielle is in on it with the Dharmies.

Sorry I can't think of a laughter-inducing moment in this episode, it was rather grim throughout. I did smile when Eko asked Locke "Do you want to watch the film again?"

I did smile when Eko asked Locke "Do you want to watch the film again?"

And I laughed aloud when Locke answered, "No, I don't."
To me, that whole scene was funny.

I too thought it was quite amusing when Locke was so eager to open the hatch. But my favorite line was Eko's "Do you want to watch that again?"

anyone feel bad for locke after he watched that film... i don't understand how him finding out that the original purpose for the numbers was a psychological project supposed to re-institute his faith?

instead it looked as though he lost it completely.

That was my favorite too because of the line (that's in my avi) from "Orientation", "We're going to have to watch that again". :bigrinan:

Locke and Eko's interaction was so funny. From the "because you were being difficult, "we're going to watch that again", "May I?" and their look of mutual understanding when they saw the videotape... hilarious! This was a nice surprise! I thought their interaction would be all serious and intense. They were the comic relief to the seriousness events in the hatch. Who would have thought?

Eko's question at the end of the film was also funny, but funny in a way that shows he knew exactly how Locke was feeling. Eko's the only one who understands what motivates Locke. I wonder if Locke will go to church.

In the early part of the episode when a thought-to-be-dead Libby suddenly starts to cough and Michael gets that "Oh ****!" look. That was my laugh out loud moment.

I thought it was a hoot when Eko head-butted Locke. didn't see that coming.

I don't think the hatch had to be broken into. the latches where on a center pin. Eko was hitting them to knock them aside and release the doors.

Two lines made me chuckle. The first when Eko asked what made the plane fall. Locke deadpanned, "Boone." For some reason I found that a funny delivery. And when Locke woke up and looked over at Eko, "You hit me." Again, not funny by itself, but the delivery made it. Can we get a spin off with just Eko and Locke. Don't tell me they couldn't carry a show by themselves.
I just saw this, but Locke backwards and you get alternate spelling for Eko: Ekcol. What is Eko's first name?

I suppose my favorite was the head butt and the lines afterwards. I liked the fact that Eko apologized before he did it, and there were so many things he could have done to restrain 'on crutches' Locke, but he didn't. I was explaining to my husband what happened with the head butt---he was in another room. He asked, why did Eko head butt Locke, and I said, well, Locke was being difficult. You should have heard the giggles when Eko responded the same way after the commercial!! I love these two together!

Yeah, this was the best one. Probably one of his better nicknames. Like, "jabba" for Hurley, although that was kinda messed up. Funny, but messed up.

reading thru this thread again for more grins, and saw this, which almost killed me:

+ I'm so hungry, I could ride a horse...
+ Wait...I don't get it...
= I could ride it to the store, I guess.
