I don't think Cindy or any of the other Tallies where with the group of others we were shown. I must admit that I was looking for any of them but did not notice any of the tallies in the crowd. Besides, if Cindy was among the others, I am sure they would have used her to talk to Micheal instead of Mrs. Clue. She knew Micheal, although only briefly, and could be expected to be more able to get information out of Micheal. Also, I don't think that the others have had enough time to assimulate the kidnapped tallies into their group yet.

I agree not only did it look like Cindy but they made a point to hold her in the center of the shot even though she was in the backround.

Why would they have Cindy talk to Michael? I don't think they would want anyone that Michael has met on the Island to talk to him. Wouldn't that mean that he would figure out it is a conspiracy? Even if Cindy pretended that she was captured and not one of them, I would be suspicious about why she has been there so long and why she was able to walk around without an escort.

On the Lost screencaps page they show a screen cap of every "other" except for the woman who looks like Cindy makes you wonder? :undecide:

I still highly doubt they'd hire her to not speak. She also said in an interview bout 2 months ago that she hadnt got a call and that she wouldn't be appearing anytime soon.

And nobody involved in the making of Lost has ever fibbed about anything in regards to the show.

You have to speak or have a certain amount of interaction or screen time before they list you I believe.

But we all could be wrong?

I don't think I saw anyone that resembled Cindy. But then again, I did watch it on the ABC website so it wasn't very clear.

I do think that even if we didn't see Cindy in this episode, it doesn't mean that she's not there or that we'll never see her again.

Rewatched that bit and Cindy ain't in it. Actually the actress is reasonably big in Australia and the UK (she was in the final season of the top UK comedy-drama Cold Feet), so it's highly unlikely they'd fly her to Hawaii and pay her a reasonable amount of money just to appear in the background and say nothing.

If you've been following The Lost Experience or read the Bad Twin novel though you'll have heard/seen Cindy's name come up a lot though. My guess is they're preparing us for when they do get around to reintroducing her. Apparently JJ Abrams specifically asked them to keep her alive in the show, which would indicate they do have plans for her in the future.

Plus, I don't remember who, but someone asked Micheal back at camp about Cindy. He said he didn't see Cindy or the kids and if he did, he would've said he did to make them more modivated to go get the others...then again, he said he didnt see Walt...

You are right. Ana asked Michael if he had seen Cindy and he said no. But he said he thought she was being held in the large hatch alongside other abductees. I'm not sure it was her, though I do think that she will return in series 3.

Hey guys, sorry to disappoint people, but I just rewatched the ep on TIVO slow-mo (frame by frame) and there was NO CINDY. I am glad to hear the news about what JJ said, however I think it will be a long time coming. As always with Lost;) .

Yeah, it could be that she's an other. The other interesting storyline would be if they somehow convinced the captured taillies that they were in fact 'good' people and somehow got the taillies on their side. That would be an incredible feet considering the circumstances and would potentially make the others even more interesting.

We don't know what lies behind that door in the Others camp. (unless you believe what is being written in the spoiler section) The answer to that question could very well explain the reasoning for all the actions that the Others took over the time that the Losties have been on the island. Now I remember where I saw the screen image of a women that resembled the stewardess. It came from a link from the Spoilerfix website covering the episode 3 minutes. I went back to the site, but now everything except spoilers for the season finale have been removed. After rewatching the episode though, it's clear that it wasn't her. Sorry folks. Wishful thinking on my part. :frown: :frown:

But she was on the plane, we saw her and even if she was an Other, she still may have been some use in the future and wouldve hidden her away. Also if she was an Other why didnt they leave her to infiltrate the LOSTies instead of bring her back to their little shanti-town? Yeah, think about it :biggrin:
