i think people saw it on the shark.

of course, i think the "missile" is too close to the arrow pictorally and we didn't get a clear shot of it...

anyway! i'm from Buffalo, NY and the weather is overcast. but it's all good b/c the Sabres are up in their series!! (sorry, sports)

There has been 4 hatches found and i can't remember any of them being called the missile hatch, maybe your thinking of the arrow hatch/station?

As an aside, the shark from www.djdan.am clearly has a swan logo on it.

There is a Symbol seen on the Shark in 2x02 (Skeptical since the Pictures on djdan.am) and on Ethans Container in 2x15 which resembles a Line the goes across the center of the Symbol.

Some say it is a Missile, Others just a Line.

We have yet to get a clear look, So until then.

Personally I thought both could also be The Pearl logo (black circle with DHARMA written across the top in a narrow line), but extremely close examination of the canteen in Maternity Leave suggests that it has a black (or dark brown) circle with The Staff in red in the middle. It's very difficult to see properly.

The DJDan site is part of The Lost Experience created by the show's producers, so it is fairly reliable in my opinion.

I think the symbol in question with the strait line looks like the Washington Monument.

Looks like a rundown of all the hatches so far, so whether that is a missile on the shark and canteen or something else, it seems like it is definitly a symbol. Which, means it is probably on a hatch somewhere too.

Also on a side note wasn't there a hatch & symbol called the Flame on the blast door map?

Yes, this is because The Missile hatch does not seem to exist. C'mon guys, we need more than a hazy, indistinct underwater shot to base the existence of a new hatch around! If there are only 6 hatches (which is not 100%, only that there are 6 hatches in the experiment), then The Missile needs to be removed and replaced by The Flame, which we know 100% exists from the Lockdown map (and other, spoilerific sources).

I'm guessing that chart was put together by someone after Maternity Leave aired but before Lockdown.

I agree,... The Missile needs to go. I'm not sure what symbol was on the shark, but I don't believe they would name a hatch Missile. According to the Map, "The Flame" does exist.

Yep, that video is a fake. It doesn't match up with any of the hatches at all apart from the Swan and Arrow. Nicely made though.

I notice on that chart earlier that the Door does appear, which I'm guessing was either a late change or the chart was made last week and the person who did it forgot about The Flame.

It's because it's colour-inverted for some reason. The circle around the Staff is a dark brown colour and the Staff itself is a dark red colour. It's very difficult to see and I had to mess around with my monitor's settings, but you can just make it out. Plus, as they've just walked out of The Staff it kind of makes sense it would be a Staff canteen.
