What can you tell me about the FATE of Charlie?

Back in the day, when Lost first started getting talked about, there was an article in TV Guide quoting JJ saying "As long as Dominic comes out of his trailer, he gets to stay on the island."

Also in the article, they said JJ was smart enough to know to keep Monaghan on the show.

I just want to know if you guys still stick to that, because I've been hearing people say that Charlie doesn't serve a purpose anymore since he's thrown away the heroin and sort of resolved his Claire issues. And basically when people have no point to be on the island anymore, they get shot down.

Ana's story was pretty closed up, but Libby's wasn't, so I was thinking that maybe Charlie will be ok, until I read this article where Dom said "yeah, I think my character might die."

So, basically I had a mini heart attack. Because I'm pretty much in love with Charlie.

So...I might go suicidal or possibly start a massacre if I don't get some kind of reassurance. Because to tell you the truth, you guys are so awesome with keeping secrets and scaring us it's quite scary for us (insert character here) fans.

I mean, Jack, Kate, and Sawyer people have nothing to worry about! (or so we think) and I used to think that Charlie people were good, but now I'm not so sure.

So please, help a Charlie girl out! I don't care how much info you give me, really. If his future is good, say good, if not...say bad. That's it. I'm just a little crazy. :biggrin:
