has anyone discussed the type of bird Walt was talking about before it hit the window
i looked it up on the net and its* Horsefield's bronze Cuckoo .. it says that
Female lays eggs in other species nest leaving the host parents to raise their young...
could this mean something , that the phsycic was telling Claire she needed to raise her child
any thoughts on the Bronze Cuckoo...i did a search in Yahoo. and read different* sites about
this bird... interesting reading....

Don't most Cuckoo's do that? Shovel their young into other birds nests?

Quite mean they are as well, as soon as the chick hatches it throws the other eggs out and then scoffs as much food as it can. You'd think the parent birds would wonder why their chick is twice the size of them.

There was another thread about the bird but it got a bit sidetracked by a (ahem) 'red herring'. http://www.thefuselage.com/threaded/index.php?topic=4385.0

But I don't think the fact about cuckoos inserting their eggs into other nests was brought up. Good point, Tbone.
