After all, LOST is full of mis direction. Fenry said that they would find rescue, but he did not exactly say they were going home....

They can't be finished with the series. Michael's story is over but there is so much to be explained about Walt.

Why the others got more than they bargained for?
Why Walt appear's ? And why he appeared to Shannon

Isn't Walt supposed to be a clone?

WHAT?!?! um...

Anyways, I think that they are not going to go 'home.' I think they'll be taken by another group of others on another island or something...though that seems kind of out there.

I agree that there is too much to Walt and too many unanswered question for Walt to be completely out of the picture already.

There's a new Official Lost Podcast devoted to them (June 13, 2006). That could either be a goodbye podcast or a sign that we will see them again.

I agree.

Michael could be eaten by sharks, as far as I'm concerned ... but I really want to see more of Walt. At the very least, I want to hear more about Walt ... but I'd really like to see him. I liked Walt.

I also agree that there are many definitions for rescue. No doubt, they will be found ... but perhaps not by people they would choose to have found them.

Hmm. I think SOMETHING will bring them back.....

Problem is that, while Walt has aged 65 days, Malcolm David Kelley has aged two years. It's tough, but there are finite possiblities for his remaining on the show due to this discrepancy. I think any more of Walt's story that we get will be in the third person, i.e., other characters talking about him. I think Michael and Walt are gone. Home? I don't know. But gone.

Walt could show up as Malcolm looks now, and say the growth spurt is cuz The Others fed him genetically modified Wheaties!

Hmmm. I dunno. It's a tough one. They could figure something out if bringing Walt and Michael back was in the script. Maybe the others gave something to Walt, that made him sprout up faster. Steriods!

Nah!, I liked the genetically modified Wheaties idea the best!... :rotflmao2: ;)

But

There is no reason why he couldn't be injected with some kind of steroid I guess! :)

Do you guys think we will ever see Michael & Walt back in Lost any time soon? because I heard various rumours that Michael was going to be written out of the show, what are the implications of this regarding Walt, will he meet the same fate as Michael?... :undecide:

I'm still hoping that the watch Jin gave Michael in season one is some kind of locater device and that Michael and Walter will be picked up by whoever is monitoring it.

Isn't Walt supposed to be a clone?According to TPTB clones will never be mentioned on Lost.

But gone. You know, it's been so long since we've seen Walt out of the shadows that I don't see anything wrong with using him while he's sitting down. His size would not be that noticeable with him sitting.

I'm still hoping that the watch Jin gave Michael in season one is some kind of locater device and that Michael and Walter will be picked up by whoever is monitoring it.That's an interesting idea. Do you think it was done to track Jin or the man Jin was supposed to give it to?

I agree with EdMuse. I think Micheal and Walt are out of the picture, simply becuase of Malcom David Kelly's age. I've been wondering how they were going to deal with this since the begining and this apprears to be the answer. I would really love to see them again, especially Micheal. I'd love to see him somehow end up back on the beach and see everyone's reaction to him, knowing what he did. That'd make for some good drama. I find it hard to believe they would just be rescued that easily though. I don't know... it's just so hard using young actors like that. I don't know if you guys are serious about the 'spontaneous growth' thing. But I really don't like that idea. In my opinion, It'd be better to just write him off.

I don't think Walt's story is over though. I think we will learn more about him and why they wanted him via 'the others'. Maybe if we get to see into their world when they take Jack, Kate and Sawyer there, some of that stuff will be answered.

I don't think Micheal and Walt are coming back or at least I hope not.

Melikon that is such a good theory I hope that it really is a tracking divice.

Malcoms age is a problem, but i dont think that they'll be knocked off the show that easily.

And what is TPTB?

Maybe they already shot whatever scenes Walt will have in the future because of the age thing. I'd hate that they would just let them go without tying up loose ends. I think that Walt holds they key to some of the Island's mysteries. Besides that would be to "easy" to just ride off and be rescued.
