We've been satisfied to believe that our boy Henry's character is named after Dorothy Gale's Uncle from Kansas, or at least I've been satisfied to believe so.


Heck, even Michael Emerson mentions the OZ connection in one of his interviews.

But my recent obsession with everything LOST inspired me to do a search and
Lo and Behold...
Henry Gale was a real live physicist!!!

died in 1942

i tend to believe he was named after the wizard of oz. it seems to have more body, being there was a hot air balloon
