Did Locke accept the free plane ride back from the Walkabout Crew or was Locke stubborn and pay for the plane ride to where ever his destination was himself?

Uh... Well, I don't know about Locke, but I wouldn't turn down a freebie. I imagine he swallowed his pride, since the man's not made of money.
