Yes, that's actually what's in the middle of the screen flashing and really dark. It's a video of a girl (looks like the one from THF intro), but it's upside down and distorted. She's also got black dots all over her, in particular over her eyes. Creepy stuff.

I recorded the voice and reversed it and was able to hear and verify the numbers as given in the original post. She says the digits one at a time so "32" is "three two" for instance.

My first thought was morse code as well given the title of the page "--" , and there is quite a long period of time before the voice begins, so I wonder if we have found all there is to find in the audio. Maybe another layer of sound is morse code.

I couldn't help but be reminded by this of the "numbers station" broadcasts that have been going on for years on shortwave. It's similar to one of the more well-known Cornet recordings of a music box followed by a repeating number sequence spoken in German. Here's some background info on numbers stations:

For some reason, this head reminds me of Sun. With her hair cut out. And upside down. And black dots covering her eyes and mouth.

I wonder if there's more hidden in the audio. Maybe we should get the whispers people over here, so we could get a good analysis of the audio.

Can anyone read lips? I'm trying to figure out what the girl is saying. It helps to look at the flash file "--.swf" contents, for those that have tools to do that.

There is a single "video" piece that is the first part of the looping sequence. This part appears to say (seems very clear to me, anyway) "Don't believe his lies."

The entire animation loop is called "Sprite 2" in the flash code and consists of 307 frames. I've been watching it over and over. Here is what I have so far:

She is definitely asian, and looks a little like Tonya on DJ Dan's website, but I don't think it is the same woman. The girl in the flash has a taller/thinner face and looks older than Tonya. She has long black hair. She has a very clear leaf decoration hanging down from her right ear (That would be on the right when she is upside down). You can't see the leaf on the website (at least I can't), but it is very clear in the flash file.

The animation consists of 5 sentences (I think) :

___ ___ ___ ___ = If you find/found out (not sure about the last word, might be 2 syllables)
___ ___ ___ = Safer On Off (makes no sense, but that's what it kind of looks like)

This is obviously very preliminary, but just wanted to share what I have so far in case someone else wants to take a look and figure it out.

Edmuse you can use Sothink swf Decompiler, trial version, but its limitations will not afford you to extract everything.

Here are a couple of versions of the persephone video created the hard way (by taking 80 screen caps of all the frames, and dropping them into Windows Movie Maker). The original clip was about 13 seconds in length. Yeah, definitely. On my laptop screen, I didn't even see the earring, but there it is. I'll bet it's just the same vid as the intro sequence, but distorted.

Thanks oouups, this is very helpful. Comparing these, I think we can conclude that they are NOT the same video (look, for instance, at how the hair lies on the girl's right shoulder). The two girls have the same kind of earing, and they may be the same girl, but it is hard to be sure because the Intro girl's face becomes pixelated (low resolution) when you try to zoom in. The movements are also clearly different, but they do have a similar tilt of the head.

My conclusion is that they are indeed the same girl, but two different clips - so we still should be interested in decifering what the girl is saying in the persephone.thehansofoundation.org animation. (see links above in post #20 for slower versions than the one oouups provided)

I had the same thought as oouups, that this girl might be Persephone, but it seems to me that her voice in the intro.swf audio is different than what we heard in some of the "extras" - like when Persephone said "Who is this guy? Why does he call himself Doctor? Doctor of What?" about Mittelwerk. That voice sounded more like Rachel Blake than the Intro girl.

May be Persephone knows Rachel by working with her.

I imagine Persephone being a webdesigner at the HansoFoundation. That's why Persephone hacking style is very different than Rachel's.
Also it has been easy for Persephone to "include" her hacks inside the Hanso website, recording Rachel's voice for scrambling tracks.

I see "save me" in the flash file text, but does it actually appear while looking at the site? I hear the sound increasing for a while ( and if you move the mouse it goes quiet and stars over ) until there is a "beep" and the "orientation_test_issue_1980" words appear briefly between the red log and the red text. After the "beep" the sound does not reset when moving the mouse - nothing else happens. I never see "save me." Am I missing something?
