Today I wondered what is the possibility that Hurley's friend at the mental hospital, Leonard, worked for Dharma? We've seen how Desmond has been afftected so could the same be said for Leonard? Could this be the reason why he keeps repeating the numbers???

Hmmm.... I don't think so, because doesn't Leonard's wife say something about how he heard the numbers being broadcast when he was in the Navy?

Also, I'm confused by your Desmond comparison. You say 'how Desmond has been affected', but Des isn't a Dharma employee either - at least, not a willing one. He's taken to the hatch by Kelvin and forced into inputting the numbers when Kelvin dies (all told to us by Des when he's explaining to Jack how he got to be in the hatch) - I think that'd make me pretty upset as well. :undecide:

And tbh I don't think Des is necessarily totally unhinged - I think he's fearful when the computer is shot, because of what he's had drummed into him for the last three years.

I also had another thought.
Danielle's child Alex. When i first saw this episode back in Season 1, I automatically assumed Alex was a boy. But I started to question, could Alex be an Alexandra?

Rousseau says in S1(towards the end) that Alex was her daughter.
