A Summer in Ohio, as performed by Sheri Renee Scott, in the musical "The Last Five Years".

I can't rave enough about this show. It's a two person show, and at the beginning we're introduced to Kathy who is mouring the recent end of her marriage. Next, we meet her husband Jamie who has just met her. They alternate back and forth, and we see his story in linear time... and her story in reverse. The show ends with him leaving her, and her meeting him for the first time. Much like Lost... layers of the onion are slowly peeled away so any decisions you make about their relationship at the beginning are challenged as you see him struggle with the marriage (you get to hear her version of the big fight first).

The songwriter is absolutely amazing, and the actors are among the best on broadway today. Listen to it now!!!!!

April...HARD choice for me. I really love Tommy's version vocally (as well as Hedwigs), but I'm going to go with Hedwigs because I like that version lyrically better. Which do you like better?

There is a guy named Ben Jellen who sings a cover of "Wicked Little Town" it's pretty decent as well.

I prefer Hedwig's lyrics but love Tommy's vocals... I remember the first time I heard the song it kept me awake for nights on end just going through my head.

Is the Ben Jellen version on the Wig in a Box tribute CD put out last year? I had that CD but didn't really get into it so passed it on to someone who enjoyed it more.

April, I have no idea, I never owned that CD...I saw Ben at my school for Rock The Vote this year, and I liked some of his stuff, and then I found out he did a cover of Wicked Little Town on his album.
