if danielle returns in season 3 i hope they give her a flashback episode, or maybe do what they did with desmond and tell her story as the 2-part finale? because i really want to know what happened when her team got "infected" and when "montand lost his arm". i think her story would be really interesting.

The next phase of the story should be JK&S and wherever they're being taken, along with a parallel story concerning the hatch and what happened in the finale. Since Danielle isn't involved in either one, I think we'll have to endure her absence for a time. I don't like it, but on the other hand, the suspense of her story will build up and be better when they do tell it.

If I were arranging things, I'd start telling her background story when the other action is slow, to give it more impact. I have no idea when that would be. Not soon though.

The last thing that Zlatna (who is a friend of Mira's) heard from her (and I think this was within the last week or two), Mira hasn't been contacted to return to Hawaii to film yet, so we probably won't be seeing Danielle in the first six eps of the season. She'll probably be on in the final stretch, if they have her in season 3 at all (and they'd better!)

Ausiello: Will we ever get a Rousseau flashback?
Damon: You can expect to see more of Rousseau next year, but the story of the wrecked research vessel… it will be coming at some point but we can't guarantee it'll be in Season 3.

I know this is older then the world...but that was the greatest spoiler of all time. I read that before, I just had no idea where lol.

yeah I'm excited to see her return, honesty I have no idea when and how she will make her appearance. I like how she pops in unexpectedly, just like Alex!

I did love seeing Alex in this last episode! Reminded me of Danielle! I hope this does mean we will see Danielle next spring. But, I am not ready for her flashback. I would like to see her continue as she is, coming into the show from time to time. Flashback to me resembles death too much for those who are not in the Three Musketeers Triangle. I don't want to LOSE Danielle to a flashback! :eek2:

Aaaaaaannnd we still wait patiently as, as someone on a mailing list called them "Lucy and Ricky" got their own flashback, while our Danielle is still watching Alex longingly from the bushes ...

I dunno...if a character isn't a regular, a flashback eppy usually means 'Don't let the door hit you in the a** on the way out'. I'd just as soon keep Danielle around for a while.

It'll really disappoint me if the 'plan' is to reunite her with Alex in a flashback episode only to have her get whacked in the process.

Well, I definitely don't want to see Danielle get whacked any time soon, but if Juliet gets two FB eps this season, and if Ben ends up having one I don't see why they can't let Danielle have one and, oh I don't know, survive it? ;)

It'd be nice. I'm just sayin'.

I'd expect any Danielle flashback would reveal so much that it would have to be part of a climax at or near the end of the series.

Put her in some nice clothes, stuff a pillow under her blouse and she'll pass for a pregnant woman in her 30's I think.

Well being honest I love Danielle and lets face it she is first person we knew about that wasn't an 815er. I class her as an untouchable rather like Rose.

Her flashbacks will possibly some of the most poignant in Lost history.
