You can easily set up a syndicated feed to LJ for any site that offers an RSS feed (which the software i used to set up Andrea's blog does in fact have). I think you need a paid LJ account to actually set up a feed, but I'm not sure:

Then you just enter the URL of the site's RSS feed (i.e "http://andrea-gabriel.net/blog/rss.php"), give it a name ("andrea_gabriel"), and that's it! Then LJ goes out periodically to check that feed for updates. There's already some very cool feeds set up at LJ, like Calvin and Hobbes comics. I love my daily dose of Calvin. ;D
