'Alias' keeping fans waiting till Jan. 5

"Alias" fans missing Jennifer Garner have two more months to wait. ABC said Tuesday that the spy drama will return with a two-hour season debut at 9 p.m. Jan. 5, then will settle into a 9 p.m. time slot on Wednesdays behind "Lost."

I JUST read this on AICN and was rushing over here to break the news - looks like you beat me to it. :laugh:

I was already resigned to the fact that there would be any Alias (not even reruns!) until January (which is only a month and a half away, by the way), so this piece of news, for me, is 100% fantastic news.

Alias and Lost on the same night...

Fantastic.

I'm a little backward on the whole thing, because I very, very rarely watch television. (I find it inconvenient.) In fact, I think that Lost is the first show I have ever watched regularly while it was actually airing, and not in syndication or on DVD.

I only watched the first episode of Lost because I'm quite a nerdy fan-girl of Dominic Monaghan. So, I was amazed when the show was so tight and well-written and absorbing. I thought, "This Abrams fellow isn't half bad... I should check him out some more."

So, I rented the Alias DVDs from Netflix, and during the month of October, I managed to catch up on all three seasons. (That's why I love DVDs.) Now I'm good and hooked, and this extremely choice time slot is reeeeeeling me in.

Y'all probly know this already, but the late start is 'cause they're running it straight thru -- no reruns.* Seeing as how I, too, only watched Alias on DVD, usually 4 eps @ a time, this makes me very happy.* A whole *week* in between episodes is going to be hard enough. Don't know how I'm surviving with Lost . . .

Mara I love your icon! and "Dessine-moi un mouton" is my favorite line from Le petit prince!
