I just wanted to say how awesome the DVD set is. In particular, there's the Connections section, which is just insane. I've produced DVDs myself and that must have taken so long to do. Actually, that's a good question: How long did it take you guys to compile and script together the whole Connections section? And what program did you use for your authoring? I think it would be kind of nuts in DVD Studio Pro to string that many nodes together :lipsseal: Way to go! :biggrin:

Thanks so much for your kind words... it means a lot to us all. Frankly, LOST: CONNECTIONS was a big, ambitious project that was created with the hardcore fans in mind... so we are thrilled we are getting such positive feedback. Fortunately, as the creative guy, I personally didn't have to author the thing (which certainly IS a complicated process). We conceived it, mapped it out, wrote it, found the clips (some are alternate angles from the dailies... NOT seen on the show), designed it, rendered it, output it, and then turned it over to our very talented technical team for authoring. I think they use Scenarist or some other professional software system. Once they are done, we quality check every link, animation, response time, picture quality, sound levels... well, everything. From the day we first roughed out the connections on the back of a brown grocery shopping bag to that final review took us about 4 months. Hearing nice things about it directly from fellow LOST fans makes us feel like it was worth all that effort. Again, thanks.
