maybe Locke was onto something when he was speculating that Ethan wanted them all in the caves so the survivors would be sitting ducks for 'the others'. i mean, how could Claire have escaped really. PLUS, Ethan could have just kidnapped her again anyway if he wanted to. perhaps there are "more" Ethan's though... more on that in the WILD THEORIES section.

at this point i don't think Locke is in step with Ethan. i think he did clock Sayid and i think he did see something when he faced 'the monster'. however, i dont think the monster was Ethan.
