Talking about other roles we'd like to see him in made me think of some past movies I thought he'd have been good in like While you were sleeping with Sandra Bullock. I think he'd done a good job as Peter.

I think Cate Blanchette would be a good pairing especially in a period piece. I would also love to see him in a romantic comedy with my favorite actress Jennifer Aniston. I think they would have amazing chemistry.

She was the first actress I thought when I read the title of the thread. So I agree. Aniston would be fine too. And I like Susan Sarandon, maybe they'd be fine together. Well sure they'd be, he's great, she's great.

When I think of her I picture her in "You Got Mail", there was such an innocence about her there. Especially the scene where she was wearing a party-hat and reading stories to a bunch of kids in her little bookshop.

Her warmth would match Ian's perfectly.

Also, not pairing him with but I'd love to see him play with the big ones, like Meryl Streep or Glenn Close.

Well, that is the classical pairing: brunet men with blonde women. But, that doesn't mean that brunettes and redheads can't be considered.:biggrin:

Right now, the only actress I wanna see Ian with is Sonya Walger (Penny). But ANY actress with real talent would be a good match for him!

I thought of another one...Scarlett Johannson. She may be a bit young, but I think she is very classy and elegant (like him). I think they would make each other shine and have really great chemistry with each other.
