So, upon hearing about it on the Lost DVDs, I've been wondering about the theory of six degrees of separation. Supposedly, any two people in the world can be connected by at most, six people. My brother doesn't think this is possible because it can't be proved. Does anyone here have an opinion about it? Do you really think it can be true? I think it could happen, but again, it can't really be proved. It would be very interesting, though!

Yeah, it's called the butterfly effect, and it's part of chaos theory. And that paperclip thing was awesome! It made me want to start trading.
I think that it's possible. When you think about it, six people is a lot, considering how many people we've each encountered in our lives.

I wonder what they classify as a "connection". Like, does it have to be somebody you've seen, or touched, or spoken to, etc?

I belive it could happen. Maybe we should see if it would actually work...:D
