The local news in LA (ABC) did a piece on LOST. And Jimmy Kimmel went to Hawaii to do a piece for his show.

Numbers huh? I wonder if it does have to do with D and D lol. I can't wait to find out Hurley's story. I think his episode is three more from now. Episode 18 I think. Don't quote me on that. If so, then we don't have to much longer to wait until we get to see his flashbacks.

I heard that Jorge said to watch for a mechanical device shown ON the TV within the TV...so for instance....the TV in the promo pic may be a picture of say, a bulldozer...thats the mechanical device.....or its the mechanical device being shown within the TV of the TV in the promo pic ::) Anyway, whatever the "mechanical device" is, is supposedly the link to the island mystery, or what not...I'm still thinking the "monster" is a bulldozer/crane :laugh:

A lot of people are leaning toward the monster being mechanical. At first, before I had time to think about it, I thought the monster was a dinosaur. hehe

Ive thought, ever since the Pilot, that the "monster" is a mechanical device, when Rose says that the noise sounds familiar and she's from the Bronx...I related, because whenever I was in the Bronx (or really almost any part of NY) all I ever heard was construction...ie, bulldozers, cranes, etc. but then another part of me is saying that it's not mechanical, it's an animal....but then again we have the mechanical noises, so it is possible its a cyborg (half animal(human)/half machine)

Locke seemed to have seen it and understood what it was. I wish he would let us in on that secret. If it is mechanical, why do you think Locke didn't tell anybody about it? (he does like to keep his secrets doesn't he?) Maybe Hurley's ep will give us a clue. I'm going to have to have eagle eyes for his episode I tell ya.

I have it on tape I'll listen to it again but I think from what I've read on this site I know what it is.

I've been hearing the lottery rumor as well. Maybe that's Hurley's big secret. HUMMM...I hope it's something more juicy.

Though the lottery thing would be a bit of a let down, I'm sure it's not the sum total of his back story. ;D

It was on the news broadcast because I watched Jimmy Kimmel, and didn't remember them saying any secrets. :)

It was pretty sad....I was watching the tape I picked up from my mom's place (I work late so I had her tape it for me), and I was sitting in my apartment watching it. I was to lazy to fast forward through the commercials, and I saw the commercial for the news saying they were going on the set of Lost. I was thinking to myself, "Oh cool. I'm going to have to watch that." I looked at the clock and realized the news had just ended. :(

Luckily I saw the promo for Kimmel, and watched it just as it was starting.

I read somewhere that is wasn't the lottery but he came into some money, like an inheritance or something. Also I've heard he may be a math and computer whiz. But I am so excited for his episode I've wanted one from the beginning.
