1. Jin and Sun talking about "the baby." It seemed like Jin was referring to Claire's baby, but when Sun responded with "I'm sure the baby is fine." her expression seemed like she (Sun) was pregnant also....like she was answering for both her baby and Claire's...If she is pregnant, then I don't think Jin knows this. She could be about 2 months and not showing.

2. I was totally shocked when Charlie shot Ethan. He used the gun that Jack dropped when Jack pounced on Ethan the first time. My first thought though is that Ethan is not dead. I think Jack should do an autopsy on him to find out for sure and find out what he (Ethan) really is.

3. Charlie's backstory was disappointing. I thought that he did this horrible thing and somehow destroyed that girl's life, but really, he just disappointed her by using her. Of course it's wrong to steal, but I was expecting more out of his story.

4. When is Claire going to have that baby!!?? Does anyone think that she could stay pregnant forever. That somehow things stay the same on the island...Walt will never grow up, Claire will never have the baby, etc.

5. Locke seemed to know about the guns (and know how to use them) even before Jack gave him one.

6. Ethan got to Scott/Steve via the water...also, that girl (who was a good swimmer/diver) drowned in the water...the key is in the water...someone needs to do some investigating there...perhaps Boone who was a life guard (LOL).

7. At first response after the episode, I wasn't terribly pleased with it, but after thinking over it some more, we did get some useful information. I just wish that Ethan had given up why he wants Claire's baby.

1. I don't think Sun is pregnant, I think that the expression on her face was that of trying to not show Jin that she knew what they were talking about.

2. I REALLY wish Charlie hadn't shot Ethan so that we can know what in the world and who in the world he is!

3. I think the point of Charlie's backstory was that she told him that "he could never take care of anybody" and that is why he wanted to take care of Claire so badly.

4. They have only been on the island for a month, and she was 7-8 months along when they crashed, right? She should be having it any time!

5. A lot of people know how to use guns---Kate and Sawyer and Sayid knew how to use the guns without being show, too.

6. I totally agree that something is up with the water! The cable that Sayid found was in the water too.....

IMHO Jin and Sun looked sad to me when talking about the baby, it made me think of their backstory and how Sun had the dog and seemed very attached to it like a child - it made me think that they either they had issues getting pregnant (like maybe one wanted to, and one didn't, or they tried and couldn't) or they miscarried a child.

Also it did seem like Jin was trying to see if Sun could understand them, but also it seems more and more to me that he can at least understand, if not speak English also - his face was processing Charlies words before he got hit with the rock, he had an expression of almost sarcasm on his face as Charlie was saying something about the bliss of ignorance and it turmed to something like shamenot having to participate that turned to a bit of shame

I definitely agree with you on that Jin knows Enlish. I have said it before but it was really reinforced last night when he looked almost offended at some of the things that Charlie said.

Yeah, I was thinking along those lines. That would be an interesting backstory. I can even picture Sun getting pregnant at the end of the episode, though I can't imagine how they would be able to tell.

When Jin was talking to Sun about Claire, Sun seemed very relaxed, but when he mentioned the baby, I thought that Sun stiffened and her expression went very carefully blank. What flashed through my mind was that Jin had had an affair and gotten someone else pregnant--and maybe that was why she was going to leave him. Then I thought about all the blood on him during their flashback and my thoughts went even wilder. Jin performed an illegal abortion?!? Jin the hitman killed a woman and found out she was pregnant (ooh--like in Jack's flashback)!?! There is something definitely significant going on here.

I also felt that there was some additional meaning to the interplay between Jin & Sun as they discussed the baby and is it OK. I think they are building towards something with this couple and a baby, Either a flashback or a pregnancy.

I'm also thinking Jin understands more than we know. There has been several times during conversation with others when he holds head a certain way like he understands everything being said. I agree, something big is coming.
