It looks like we really do see NUDE Des! I died when Hurley said, "Dude, the hatch blew off your underwear!" OMG!!!!!!! :thud: Lucky Jorge/Hurley!!!! :24: And Locke! Yay!!!!!!!

HAHAHAHAHAHA the RED SOX!! OMG....... that ending was both funny and..... one of the most chilling endings to a Lost episode ever. Omg..... :Jumpy: I actually like Jack a lot better now. He definitely wasn't that annoying right there.


And.......

When I knew that the episode was doing some closure, I got so freaked out and nervous about the preview that I almost didn't want to watch it. You ever get that nervous and excited about something, that you worry about it and want to shield yourself from it?

.......why is Locke acting so damn weird???

Maybe it's the hatch..... maybe it'll go away.... but the way he talked and looked and acted throughout that whole preview was so weird I just.... damn. I hope that doesn't last too long.

I remember reading that T was in an eppy long ago named DEM, Bella, Strange world show biz is.

DEM seems to be a very popular title. I still don't know what it exactly means. He was also in a Millenium ep called Walkabout.

The magazine article that bellablue has is in the Starlog magazine scans you an find in the terryoquinn.net gallery. I've been reading up a lot about him in those magazine scans lately. It's been really interesting learning more about this guy, behind his acting thoughts on characters and other aspects of his career. The adjective I see often when I'm reading about his thoughts on characters are 'militaristic'. Harsh Realm, Millenium, Alias......

Hmmm, someone started a thread for people to list all the LOST items they own. So, let's see how many Terry/Locke items people own.

I own a bag with Locke in the hammock on one side and Terry in his read shirt on the others. Someone made that for me, along with a T-shirt with the S2 promo pic on it. I also have the Locke/Kate T-shirt from the first fanclub kit. I have four autographs and many other pics. I also have the most recent TV Guide that Terry was on the cover and various other mags with him in them, including that lovely pic of him sitting by the pool at his home in HI. Someone had made some magnets and I have one with Locke on it and I have a keychain with Locke and another keychain that says "Team Locke." I also own several pairs of Cargo pants. :D I also own too many movies and videos of TV eppies to remember. I have a vid of Terry on some talk show early in the series and with him on Jimmy Kimmel and 20/20, I believe. I have a DVD of him on Regis and Kelly. I'm sure there are other things I'm forgetting at the moment.

Everything I own of Terry/Locke are the Lost DVDs, the In Touch magazine with the page on him and his pool, and The Forgotten One VHS.


And all my videos and graphics if that ever counts. ;)

Not that I've even seen the ep, but.... I have a bad feeling when I watch every new Locke thing.... they all seem... kind of over-acted. A little melodramatic and overplayed. But like I said, maybe we'll just have to wait and see the whole ep.

Someone sent me an owl the other night...a REAL one. Scared the crap outta me sitting (on the roof) outside my window and hooooting at 5 am. Took me forever to coax the cats and my mother out from under the bed after that!! Personally, I thought it was kinda neat - once I figured out the roof wasn't haunted!

That is a much nicer avie. I saw another pic from the S3 premiere where T looked so happy. Just happy to be there and to be alive, it seemed. If only we could all feel that way all the time. Terry's vibrance always brings a smile to my face.

However, I know that mine and my hubby's lives have been extremely hard over the last several years. But things are seem to be finally picking up. Remember that lovely note T left for me? It was as if he knew I needed that right at that time. Ever since things have been better, believe it or not. Everything happens for a reason....

It would certainly appear Terry outshines himself, based on all reports from people who have encountered him. I think it was Matt Raggs or Damon or someone....can't remember, but they said that T is bigger than life in person. I just get the feeling he lights up the entire room with his presence. But he's not overbearing or overwhelming. There's not an ounce of Hollywood in that man!

I remember a window glass commercial where this young guy was running up to a house in the night or something, and he was yelling as loud as he could "Pelllllaaaaa!!! Pelllllaaaaaaa!!!" Yes, because the window pane/brand thing was called Pella. Cheap knock off, but I had no idea what that was about when I first saw it because it was before I heard anything about "A Streetcar Named Desire".

I'm surprised y'all are so surprised to learn Terry was/is Catholic. (Who knows if he still is or is still practicing). But he is from an Irish family and he does where that Celtic cross for his mother.

I'm in an LJ Locke fans community (imagine that) and someone posted this about a Terry sighting.


I am so jealous of my coworker friend, he saw Terry O'Quinn at the mall here!! (I live in Hawaii) However, my friend doesn't even WATCH Lost, so he didn't know who Terry was!!! hahah (but his wife pointed him out, saying he was on Lost, and then through his description, "very tall man, bald/shaved head", it could only have been good ol' Terry :D) He said he was hanging out with a younger man. since he doesn't watch the show, perhaps it was another cast member :O

My friend went on to say that while he didn't know who he was, he definitely had a very charismatic presence, so he had a feeling he was "somebody" despite not knowing who :D That didn't surprise me, as Terry's charm always comes right through the TV screen. <3

Yeah, but at least Sayid went back to Shannon and told her he didn't think Locke was lying. And the ep before that, Sayid had told Locke that he didn't trust him but he felt Locke was their best chance at survival. Maybe that trust will be stronger if they search for J/K/S together.

I'm confused, Carencey. Do you mean the Woobie thread didn't exist when we first openend DOLT? Actually, LockeMeUp had the Worshippers of the Woobie" thread on the Groups forum, sometime after DOLT was created. On the Locke forum, Waltisfuture had created "Let's Adopt Locke." When those two reached their maximum pages I merged them and created the first Woobie thread. The "Woobie's Family Treehouse." Then when that one reached max pages, we started this new one.

Back when DOLT was getting ready to start a new thread for S2, Hallie had suggested we merge DOLT and WOW, but I talked to her explaining that they were actually quite different, even if they both focused on Locke. This one was a lot more carefree and the other was for much more serious discussions. So, she said we could keep them both, but that's when we decided to move the Woobie thread to the Locke forum...

But I can understand why it's moved here. I just wanted that clarified. Thanks. :)

Yo, completely off the topic of Lost, I just watched 'The Fourth Horseman' episode of Millenium... OMG. That was so frickin' awesome. :D And Terry was so hot (as usual). Anyone else watch Millenium besides me? It's a good show. It gets even better in the second season. :)

Oh well, have you noticed that he's been posting a lot lately. I recently got a response from him. Teased him about only liking the 30+ ladies! I know Distress and fellow 30 and under would appreciate it. I was reading the imdb boards and you'd be surprised at how many girls in their yound twenties adore him. It'a a no brainer for me but since there are so many younger guys on the show, you'd think they would be into them. I don't know what it is but all the others pale in comparrison. They do nothing for me.

Hey! He's on all the time almost! Reading from that, either he must be out of action lately or just happy about the overall direction of his character, so he feels more inclined to come on and talk to his fans.

I can't say myself that I've always liked older guys... well, actually I can, because I'm almost disgusted with boys like Danielle Radcliffe and the likes... I would NEVER be smitten by a guy under at least 20 years of age. But the only crush I've really been into before Terry was young baby-faced Elijah Wood. My tastes seem really random that way. :rolleyes:

I'm sure T's schedule varies widely. Even if he's in an ep, they are only going to film certain scenes on certain days. Other days he may not have been called up or he might go in much earlier/later. There's just no telling.

He's a mediocre actor at best, and limitlessly overrated. Plus his looks just don't do it for me at all. I don't see what's so great about him or Harry Potter. Which causes me to hate him and other bubbly fandoms of overrated untalented boys.

Shark Bait, I used to be a HUGE HP fan. I still am a big fan, but I mean...well, you know how obsessed I am with LOST. I used to be like that with HP. But LOST pretty much took it's place. I saw every HP movie on premiere night, until...well the last one. I'm a bad HP fan! But I have TONS of HP stuff and even a school uniform. I've RPed, etc, etc...

Now to tie HP and LOST. My hubby is always saying we should try to
