Can anyone translate what Sun and Jin are saying in the hallucination?

Sayid looks like he's kind of mock comforting or pitying Sun because Sun is giving Jin a hard time?

Thanks in advance!

I'd have to watch it again. I wasn't quite able to catch it the first time around.

If you get a chance, that would be really awesome, LIB. :)

LIB, do you have it recorded, if not I can send you the audio as well :)

this is what i could gather from the airport scene

jin: met bun het suh? (can't catch the first part, this is just a fragmented sentence)
how many times?

sun: wae eh lun il ul na han tae mak guh yo?
why do you make me do these things? (a better translation would be - why do i always have to do these things?)

I dont think it matters so much what they said as the tone of voice they used. Someone somewehre on another thread mentioned that everyone in the airport scene was exactly the opposite of what they are on the island. In Sun & Jin's case, she was bossing him around for a change.

Sayid seemed like he was directing them along, like letting them know the line moved or something. It was cool that the three were together in there since their boat escapade.

Well, some of us think it matters because we like to have everything documented. And to check for EEs.

If Jin was saying "How many times", that most certainly can be alluded to him talking about Sun sleeping with Baldy.

I dont understand how Sun's response really makes sense though.

Pen, I don't have it recorded. I'll listen to the recording if you send the audio clip. Thanks.

Jin: I told you to take care of the luggage many many times.

Sun: You're giving me the task of taking care of the luggage? Or, you're making me responsible for the luggage? ( as in, isn't that your job?)

Dialogue went really fast, but this is what I thought I heard.

That's funny. Acting like a normal couple not the tension that really was there. lostisland, I'd like to use your translations if I may in the LLL. see my sig. You would get credit.

Any chance the "luggage" could translate to "baggage"?

Because in this same epi, on The Island, when Charlie asked Locke what Boone had to say for himself in the "spirit tent", Locke said Boone told him that he's got to clean up his own mess. And Charlie said something like "Spoken like someone who's had to clean up a lot of messes", and then the Locke/Eddie/hunting FB was shown.

Thanks, LIB!

thanks LIB! :) We're working on the hidden audio for this scene as well as the dialogues from the characters, do you mind if we include your translation? Of course we will credit you for the contribution :)

i rewatched the scene and still can't hear any reference to luggage or baggage =\

what jin says is fragmented and you can clearly hear him saying "how many times?"

and sun pushing the paper to him and saying "why do i always have to take care of these things?"

just a mundane scene of a couple arguing over travel plans, imo.

Hey evolve, I'm sure LIB will chime in about the translation, but just to let you know I gave her an enhanced version of the audio, that amplfies the voices and takes out some of the background noise. In this file you can hear Jin's complete line better. I'll send it to you as well

i don't get the parallel between baggage/luggage and how locke's boone vision is relevant?

maybe i do, just that locke had a lot of "baggage" and had to clean up his own mess, so now sun has the burden of jin and her's relationship?

I favored drug induced hallucination for the scene (a hallucination that lets Lockes subconscious put together clues about "where's Eko?".) However having Jin & Sun speak actual Korean, instead of hallucinated gibberish, argues towards a real vision.

Thanks for the translation.

good point fogey! It is hard to imagine locke hallucinating in Korean.

I would welcome evolve's opinion. Again, it's what I heard, but I could be totally wrong. The beginning of Jin's part of the dialogue was a bit unclear as well as the beginning part of Sun's line. They could be arguing about something other than "baggage," but the argument was something along the lines of...I told you to do this many times... Why must I be in charge of this task...

yup. that's the geist of what i got as well :) i think it confirms it when sun pushes what she's holding to jin (from frustration of always having to do the task they are referring to - i would assume travel plans or something along those lines). but i agree with what lostislandbaby has said. i just couldn't hear the "baggage/luggage" and wanted to note that in here, is all.

thanks for the offer of sending the audio :D soon as i get it, i'll check and post an update :)

Jin: I told you to take care of the luggage many many times.

Sun: You're giving me the task of taking care of the luggage? Or, you're making me responsible for the luggage? ( as in, isn't that your job?)

I figured that they were referring to whatever Sun was carrying, which could definitely be a metaphor for the baby that she is "carrying".
The baby, and the situation around it are all her responsibility.

ETA: In the "LOST and Found" moments at the ABC Amex site (http://abc.go.com/primetime/lost/lostandfound/index), this scene is in Key Moment 05. The scene is labelled "What's in the bag?" And the caption is: Sun and Jin seem to be arguing as the stand in line at the airport. Is it about the package? This seems to support your translation, as well as the baby interpretation.
