Um...how do I describe it? Try looking straight up from Locke's left hand, and you may see half a face hidden in the creepers. There again - I have been on the Malibu tonight, so I do apologise if I am sending you on a wild goose (or polar bear) chase!!!

I think I see what you're talking about, but if it's a face, it's a Predator ... as in from the movies.

The first thing I saw was what looked like a hand. I mean, it just jumped out at me, even though you told us to look for a face. I still don't see the face, but the hand is giving me goosebumps .... :redface:

There definitely seems to be some kind of dead creature sticking out of that tree.

If I'm looking at the same thing you are looking at, I did sorta notice something above the hand I saw earlier. This is going to sound really weird, but it looks like a monkey with a hooded robe. :undecide:

There have been several monkey references in LOST, starting with Charlie's remark to Rose in the Pilot when they are talking about the noises made by the monster. Someone says it sounded like monkeys and Charlie says, "Monkey Island?"

Since then Fuseleers have been trying to make monkey/ape/primate connections and just about lost their minds with joy when Joop popped up! Hmmm, there may be something to this after all .... :smile:

as much as I'd like to argue the presence of canals on Mars, and its pretty hue being due to the Red Weed... I have a prior engagement for dinner with Erich Von Danikan and a Sumatran Hobbit. :p
