and of course I'll be home!

ok I figured out my schedule would be something along these lines:
Feb 20-25: First week of basic training. No access to a computer.
Feb 26-27: I get the weekend off. I'm at home with a computer.
Feb 28-March 10: Last two weeks of basic training. I'll probably have to spend the weekend at the base so no computer.
March 11-the end of my service: I work Sunday-Thursday and come home every day... just like a normal job.

Obviously it might change since I don't know exactly what's gonna happen, but something like that...

Hope that clears it up a little.

Since our schedules are very different, will I only get to see your around the internet on weekends?

Oh my Goddard, I'm so frustrated. My parents are making me get a job (because of the college thing next year...I was already planning on getting a job before they started attacking me about it), but that's not really the problem, I'm just kinda stressed about job hunting and the like. But I got all this end-of-year senior stuff in the mail, basically detailing out the final weeks of our senior year to a T and I'm sooooo sad/mad. Senior Recognition Night (which is, as I understand it, when we get scholarship certificates, honor diplomas, NHS ropes, and the like) is on May 25. Do any of you know what is coming on the night of May 25? (I don't think this needs spoiler tags...?) The season finale. CRAP on a log. There goes my idea to have a LOST party at my house that night with 4 of my closest LOST friends from school. GAH! I have to TAPE it! TAPE it! And I probably won't be able to watch it until the next day! NOOOOOOOO! [/dramatic meltdown]

is this something that you have to attend?* when i was graduating from HS we had the same thing but i didn't go because

1 i didn't care about the people getting the awards
2 ceremonies like that are boring
3 i wasn't being awarded

i mean if you don't have to be there and neither do your friends then it shouldn't be a problem not going, unless your parents want you to, and in that case i'm sorry to hear that you will be missing the Finale.

My parents love the HS ceremonies, for some reason. I find most of them (okay, all of them that aren't band related) completely boring and I usually sit with my friends and we whisper to each other the whole time anyway (with the exception of the Junior Book Awards...then we had assigned seats based on which college gave us our book, which was stupid, but anyway). On the bright side, since I think it's going to be a two-parter, I'll just have my LOST party the week before for the first part. And I'll be getting my NHS rope that night so my mom will probably want pictures. And I think they want all the awarded seniors there...not sure....*sigh* I'll live...just kinda had a meltdown yesterday when I read that. It's been a verrrra long and stressful week....

That's such a shame orangepolarbear! Ask them to change the night - how many people are gonna turn up when they can be at home watching Lost?! ;)
