I didn't see a thread for this already so I thought I would start one. Post your favorite Hurley Quotes here.....

I love the scene where he's talking to Sawyer about the manifest and he says:

Didn't that just sum it up.* He knew that Sawyer needed the respect and he needed the manifest. Hurley is so sweet, I love how he thinks of others, so unselfish.

I think most people underestimate Hurley. He's a funny "dude"!

Let's see, some of my favorites that haven't been posted yet...It's an extensive list, because I love Hurley, and he gets some of the best lines, which are made even better by Jorge's spot on delivery. :laugh:

That's the same quote that I was going to post. I love it! Haha just the way he says it is funny. Actually, that whole scene was funny. I also liked the whole "It's a plane!" bit. :)

Favorite Hurley quotes.... how about all of them! Seriously every time he opens his mouth he makes me laugh or wonder. Some of of the best that come to mind:

That amused me deffinately. Because I kept thinking the same thing. Ethan's gonna start moving and freak them out. And the Cramps comment at the end, priceless. Even my friend, whos first episode was Outlaws, laughed at that one.

Then of course there his last line, the last line, in "In Translation." I was laughing so hard I turned red. And previously mentioned friend was too. She is now addicted because of Hurley. :laugh:

Sort of the same as yours, Hobbette, but I liked the whole dialogue with Danielle, thought it really showed just how good of an actor he is. Just the look of exasperation on his face when he says " I want some FRIGGIN ANSWERS!!!" was awesome

Edit: one extra thought: I liked the obvious parallel there, that we, as viewers also want some answers, and did get some (Unfortunately we got a hundred more questions)

all of those lines are hilarious. but for my favorite, i have to go with "you just said something mean didn't you?" maybe it's just my weird sense of humor, but i laughed so hard i cried. :roflmao:

This is my absolute favorite! Thought I was gonna pee myself.* :roflmao: Another one I haven't seen, it may be here, went something like, "dude, you wanna get in on this? We're playing for the last sticks of deodorant.

How about the one where Charlie says: "I'm baring my soul to you here can't you confide even one thing to me" and Hurley says "Back home I'm worth 155 million dollars." and Charlie snorts and says sarcastically, "fine, don't tell me anything.

All of Hurley's lines are memorable. One of my favorites is:

"Now, I want some friggin' answers!" I love the way he changed from "good-old fun time Hurley" to "you'd better not mess with me right now Hurley". :laugh:

And of course, the follow-up "Thank you!" (followed by a massive Hurley-hug) was also great!* :)

I love every Hurley line myself, but I think its the moments that the rest of the lostaways don't see or notice that make the most impact on who he is to me....like his meeting with Rousseau or his solitary listening to his CD player before the batteries died. Thats when I realize just how deep he is and how much of an old soul is lurking underneath his jovial exterior.

Thanks :) I'm glad there are more of us that see him the same way. I was just so totally proud of his bravery tonight with Locke too. I'm hoping we get some pre-boarding info on him next week to tide us over till next season.

I lurve Hurley - he is a very funny man and his comic timing is spot on. He delivers the funniest lines with such a deadpan face - or a totally innocent face.

I mentioned on a different post that Locke is my favorite character but it's really a tie between Locke and Hurley.

As for a favorite Hurley saying, well all the ones posted already are great but I didn't see the one where Charlie is holding a crying baby and Hurley starts singing to him, when the baby still keeps crying, Hurley says something like, "dude, that's all I have."

I think one of the most touching moments is when he and Rose were in the food pantry and she reaches out to comfort him because she begins to understand why Hurley wants to destroy the pantry, I just wanted to hug him tight and rock him like a baby. :)

That scene was hysterical...the transcript: (Bolded my favorites from that scene)

Well, in retrospect I don't know if this was necessarily my favorite ever but it was in the pilot and I knew he was going to be a great character after I heard it:

Hurley: How do you know how to do all that?
Sayid: I was a military communications officer.
Hurley: Oh yeah? You ever see battle?
Sayid: I fought in the Gulf War.
Hurley: No way. I have a buddy who fought over there. He was in the 104th Airborne. What were you, Air force, Army?
Sayid: The Republican Guard.

I laughed really hard after this exchange.

the best part of about "Dude you've got some arnzt on you" is the fact that he still cant pronounce his name
