In 2x03 (Orientation), when Desmond is leaving the hatch, he grabs a stuffed rabbit from his bed. Do you think this has a connection with all of the rabbity stuff in this episode?

I can't figure out what it would be for the life of me, though.

I'm not sure about the Ben/Desmond connection thing, but since there was talk of juliet being a fertility doctor maybe they were used for the old rabbit test for pregnancy.

I do not know, but there has been at least three reference to rabbits. In the episode with Jack's father , "white rabbit" , Desmond grabbing a a white rabbit as he was leaving, and now Benny shaking a white rabbit. The white rabbit is what Alice followed into a rabbit hole. So could all the white rabbit reference have something to do with following in blind faith?
