HELLO JUICE THEORY!!!!!!!
I guess the Marshall's comments were foreshadowing Kate's flashback tonight.

Yeah I was thinking about the juice theory as soon as Kevin started feeling light-headed

Do you think that the juice that she used killed her husband unintentionally? Is that why the marshall brought that up on the plane?

I'm sure after the West Coast broadcast Sam G will be around to enlighten us about the details. I'm sure she'll be thrilled with the scene. I believe it started with the juice drinking scene with Kate and the marshall on the airport, encorporates the color orange and her propesnity to poison people.

So did Kate actually kill her husband? I wasn't sure if she just knocked him out so that she could get away, and make it look like he had no idea that she was a fugitive so that he wouldn't get in trouble.

I kind of thought that she was knocking him unconscienous, but perhaps used too much and he "accidently" died.

I immediately thought of the Marshall's juice line as well. As well as Kate teaching Sun to poison. I'll have to read through Sam's Juice theory. I wonder how often she has used this method?

I wasn't thinking of her killing Kevin, just making it so he wouldn't lose his job.

That's some strong drug she used.
One sip, off the top of a tall glass, and 90 seconds later that big strapping hunk was toast.

This is 3 for Kate, right?
She's drugged Kevin, Jack, and Michael.
Of course her motives were GOOD all 3 times. Dontcha just love it when Kate tries to be GOOD? I'd hate to see her when she's trying to be BAD.

I'd think she drugged her ownself on the plane - she's an adept palmer - if I could only think of some GOOD reason she'd do so.

That's true, it had to be super concentrated, which would probably change the taste of the drink, but that's probably being too picky

Kate said that she didn't want to make it look like Kevin knew about her past or that he was harboring a fugitive as he might lose his job, etc. I don't think she would try to poison Kevin to death. She was trying to protect Kevin.

Great catch on the orange juice on the plane! I totally forgot about that!

She didn't kill Kevin...she merely drugged him so she could "run" and get a head start on him. She said she didn't want him to lose his job...not his life!!

She really loved him and wanted to stay...but the Marshall was right...she just can't stay put.

She was trying to protect Kevin.

She drugged Jack because he was tired and needed to rest.
She drugged Michael because Sun loved Jin and wanted to keep him on the island.

No wonder Mom Diane screamed for help in the hospital. Kate might have wanted to protect or help her, too.

kate's mom was afraid she had a glass of orange juice in her hand. She definitely only drugged kevin. Did anybody see the inscription on the necklace. The camera was on that thing alot. And she did leave it behind for kevin when he woke up. I just made the connection that Jin's color is orange also, at least that was the predicted color of love when it came looking for him. Probably nothing to that.

Sorry to sound like a naysayer, but of all the threads left loose from past seasons, the juice comes back up again? Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar. On a side note, Locke's "orange grin" was an homage to The Godfather.

I don't think Kate killed Kevin, just knocked him out. During the game of "I Never" she didn't sound like her marriage was tragic, just short.
