Interesting theory, but I don't think that's the case, as Miss Klugh was supposed to be where Coleen was in season three, but the actor wasn't available so they had to invent a new character.

I think we will be seeing alot more when Lost comes back from its hiatus. It's only been 6 episodes remember, I'm liking your theory about evil others though.

I wonder if the children even live in the "suburb village" we saw in epi 1. I didn't see any then...perhaps there's a different location where they are "raising" these children. Wonder if any of the other kids have the same type of precog that Walt has...

I think it's way to early and presumptuous to state there are no kids with the others. There just aren't any kids near Kate, Sawyer or jack and that's all we have really seen.

I didn't see any children mulling around when the plane crashed & everyone was outside their houses...you'd think we'd have seen some outside playing...

I am pretty sure we will see some kids whenever the show returns. I have a feeling the entire island is gonna take a turn...but for better or worse? No one knows. I'll watch it anyway.

The kids were with the tailies not from the fuselage. They were stolen by the others and at that time we didn't exactly see who grabbed them. We did see them barefoot and walking in the woods so that would indicate they were with the others who were playing dressup as castaways. These are the same others that included Tom ,Danny, Goodwin, and Miss Klugh. These are the others we know so the kids must be in the village and they are just not showing them yet.
We have been told by the creators that after the break the focus will be more about the others and the island.
Really hope the series comes back early.

If you think back to when we were introduced to the Tailies crashing onto the island, we find out that the children are "safe" and presumably with the others. They took Alex from Rousseau, Walt from Michael, so we can probably expect it has something to do with the island experiment or creating a future generation of the island utopia.

I think that there are 2 groups of others (which is the good grop as opposed to which is the bad group has yet to be determined). Perhaps the the group that stole the kids were trying to protect them from Ben's group. Maybe when Sawyer shot one on the walk to be captured he actually shot someone that was tring to protect them. Maybe the eye patch guy is their leader.

Well, I'm hoping since we have been introduced to Juliet, a fertility doctor, that we will learn more about the Others' fascination with children as well as the whereabouts of the children that were taken.

...and finding out where Cindy went, as well as other adult Tailies, would be helpful as well!!!! :rolleyes:

i think this may have been discussed in some other threads maybe, but i'm just wondering what these kids will look like if we ever see them again and how they will explain all that...the original actors playing them must look hella different now and have scratchy pubescent voices and what not.

I've been wondering the same thing about the kids as well. They're probably hidden somewhere with the silent feet (four toed) people.. last time I've seen them was when they crept by Michael, Jin, and Eko in the woods.. I think..

They probably are hidden in the mountains, or in a deserted hatch that hasn't been discovered yet. I remember an episode in Season 2 where Michael takes off looking for Walt and than Jin and Eko find him. He continues searching for Walt and shouting his name with Jin and Eko following behind him trying to get him to stop. I remember when he stopped at this waterfall and shouted the last time for Walt before Jin and Eko finally got him to calm down. At that moment, I was wondering if he was standing in the four toed, silent creeping people's territory? I wondered if Michael was close to even finding them?

I think Michael was probably very close to them at that point. Made me wonder if they live behind that waterfall or possibly around it. Hmmm.. not really sure..:undecide: but could be..

Think these people like to live in harmony and that waterfall symbolizes it in a way..

I love it!!! I have hitched my wagon to a time shift theory since the beginning. Nothing else to me better explains the voices (being heard from an alternate plane) and the importance of the flashbacks to the overall design of the show. I would love it if they met the children on the island, aged.

Ms. Klugh lived in a tent (or like little log cabins) my guess is one of those cabins has a school of some sort and it is likely that the children live near that school. We haven't actually seen any of those little cabins this season..only last.

I agree with you, they will probably be at a different part of the Hydra. It looks like Walt was kept there, at least at somepoint as Miss Klugh threatend Walt with 'the room' which is more than likely the room where Alex's boyfriend was.

The other's have a submarine so they might travel to various different locations all over the island.

I dunno, Damon mentioned that we'd be seeing stuff about the Children very soon, and from what the previews for this coming week's episode (Stranger in a Strange Land), it appears as if we're going to have a look at least at some of the Children this week.

Everytime I see the names "Zack and Emma" mentioned, I think of "Zack and Emmy", the two kids from the miserable PBS kids show Dragontales who transport themselves to another land (an alternative universe, some might say) through the use of a magic dragon scale...
