I've been sitting here reading all of your answers, and trying to figure out what I would say.
But I'm too busy trying to stop laughing at CapnHuFlungDu 's teleportation device. :lol: (the way it's always the 3rd request). I wish I had one to give to CapnHuFlungDu, just for his/her persistence :biggrin:
Oh, wait I guess that was my first wish.

The only other thing i can think of right now is some kind of device that let's you talk directly to a loved one after they've died. You, know to check in with them from time to time and see how things are going with them. And to see if they really can see us, and remember us after they have passed. (My Dad better not forget me :'( )

well, I am assuming my wishes would be in a world already at peace where differences are treasured and not attacked and people had the food they need.

assuming all that my selfish wishes would be:
1). that my mom would grow the heck up and leave us alone.
2) that I had enough money to never work, therefore I could volunteer at things I love full time
3) that I had a home I loved in a place I loved.

guess those are mine at first thought.

My three wishes:

1. To have enough money to be comfortable and pay off all my bills or at least catch up.
2. To live in a place that I can have visitors over and out of town folks over night.
3. To have children.

I would try to save them, in case, at a future date, a loved one was dying.

2. Lowing gas prices in America/ lowing the economy and strictness in the UK and Ireland. Have you heard of a tv license? The citizens of Ireland and UK have to have one in order to have color tv or something like that. Yes, costs at least $150 to get one. It's madness how much they are getting ripped off there. :blink: It's very expensive where my boyfriend lives. So differant than the US. Learning so much about Ireland, the UK and all other countries surrounding them from my boyfriend. Very interesting.... makes you think more about our country. How free we really are.

Long story...I severed (shredded) my achilles tendon almost 9 years ago, wasn't supposed to walk again! But I am walking, I just have to live with pain, so it kinda sucks, but I shouldn't complain!

Tell me about it, I put on weight since the accident, couldn't exercise, my metabolism plunged! Now, it's hard, vicious circle! The older ya get, the harder it gets! Hmm . . . my wishes from 4 months ago. Let's update!

1. Really, I wish that the next 8 months were over, because then my boyfriend's deployment would be over. I guess plans have changed a bit and I'm willing to settle down before he's officially out. :-[
2. Well, my parents have stopped bothering me, but they still think I'm nuts. Oh, well. I still wish they could be more open and accepting people, but I know I can't change that. It still makes me sad though. :(
3. I'm working on this one! I keep psuhing back the launch date, but it's going to be really, really soon. Anyone in the NYC area interested in a cooking lesson? ;)

I think for my third wish........I'd pick to be in the room with the 3 punks being held in Aruba (and that Dad of the Dutch kid) that know EXACTLY what happened to Natalee Holloway but continue to lie. I'd make Guantanamo Bay look like it was a Day Spa if they kept this lying up. I know this kind of contradicts my 1st pick of world peace, but scum need to be dealt with so no more innocent people and their families have to go through this.

The Dutch kids' Dad actually admitted he told the 3 boys "No body, no case"..........PLEASE... let me at'em

1. That my friend's cancers would go away. She has 2 different cancers (which is rare). That she wouldn't have to go through h*ll any more.
2. That there would be an end to violence and poverty. I teach at a school with a high poverty level. Been there for 20 years.

1. I'd like to see the obsession for power, greed, control and hate disappear, I believe with that most war would cease...and along with it, so should world hunger and a great deal of different types of violence.

2. I'd wish that all forms of abuse would stop...including sexual and domestic....along with slavery and human trafficing. ANYTHING that exploited children!

3. I'd wish I could live to a ripe old age, reasonably healthy and that my family and I would live comfortably and without too many worries.
